Jimmy, Raphael and Christian were reliable, prompt and very professional in handling our move. In fact, they made it a pleasant; worry free experience.

Turned up 2.5 hours late, then charged me in excess of my quote because they took hours to move 5 items I had informed them about for my quote. Then damaged my house and refuse to repair!!! Rude owner when trying to arrange some sort of repair or compensation! DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!!

None of the above is true and and as such, *removed* who posted this review is lying and will be receiving a cease and desist order form our solicitor if she continues to and no more , as will womo.com.au if they continue to allow this review to stand. As a business owner, you expect factual reviews about your business, womo has let us down in a massive way allowing this to remain.
This is a accurate account of my experience with Moveworx! I am within my rights as a customer to leave a review that reflects my experience! The threats clearly demonstrate what it was like dealing with this company.
Ok, let's look at the facts:
The job was a quoted fixed price based information the reviewer provided to us via phone and email. If we present to do a job and the information (access to the goods to be moved and the list of goods themselves) is different then the amount of work to be done changes and price adjustments are made accordingly.
As to the claims of the reviewer:
1. Turned up late: we booked an afternoon slot and advised that we'd be there AFTER 2pm, a fact that the reviewer has not disputed. We arrived at 4:02pm. That is not late and fits in with the what we said we'd do.
2. The amount of time taken was in excess of what we anticipated because the beds, large shelving units and chests of drawers were removed from upstairs and apart from the shelving, were delivered upstairs. We quoted for good access to the goods, or flat and level. There is no disputing it was different. The reviewer even mentions '5 items' which was in fact 10.
3. You were charged a little less than one hour more than what was quoted mainly because of the access difference (see point 2 above) and partly because a desk was added to the inventory. This additional amount was fair and reasonably reflects the extra work that was done to complete the move. I note that's no claim that the extra charge was unfair.
4. Damage to home: the reviwer alleged 3 items of damage; we ascertained that yes, we did some damage to a plaster surface inside the home and agreed to fix it, which we are in the process of attending to in reasonable time. The other 2 items (a door and a hand rail) were not done by us. Our staff are prepared to sign statutory declarations to attest to this.
5. Rude owner: I have never been rude to the reviewer, all correspondence has been business like and polite. Transcripts of emails available on request.
We recently moved from a 5 bedroom house into an apartment in the eastern suburbs on 28th July 2015. The move went very smoothly and Phil and his team of staff Roy, Walter and Alex were great. The team worked efficiently and were very punctual. I can certainly recommend Moveworx. The next day our daughter moved from the above same house to her own apartment on the lower north shore and the results were the same. An excellent service.

We used Moveworx to move from Prospect to the Central Coast this month and they were brilliant. I would highly recommend them for there speed, efficiency and the way they look after your goods. They also don't charge hidden extras like some other companies we got quotes from. We had Alex and Walter on the day and couldn't have been happier with there performance.
The Moveworx team have been absolutely superb with all our moves in the past eighteen months - from moving from our home, to a studio, with all our goods in storage to then moving to our new apartment ... and even assistance with our down-sizing and moving surplus furniture to relatives! I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone who is looking for top class customer service, the personal touch and of course the greatest care with your precious stuf! Thanks so much to Phil and all the team.
Short notice to move office furniture and it was done in 2 days. Excellent service, no hassles, efficient staff and we priced. A job well done! Very happy with the service.
From the first call, we received very helpful advice and a reasonable quoted price from Roy in the office to move from Baulkham Hills to the Central Coast. As we didn't know our actual moving date/day at the time, Roy was able to give me a few days/dates that they could help us out.
When I eventually called back Phil was also very helpful arranging the move for us with short notice.
Moving day, Alex & Jim arrive and swing into action, before we know it the trucks loaded and we are heading to our new home. Thanks to the boys for suggesting the PORTABLE WARDROBES, we were going to put the hanging clothes on the back seats of the cars,but thanks to the wardrobes we wont need to re iron!!
Alex & Jim were extremely helpful and placed all the furniture and boxes where we asked (and even gave us some styling tips). The whole nightmare of moving, was made a much better experience thanks to the all the staff at Moveworx.
Our only regret was that we couldn't locate where the kettle was packed to give the guys a cuppa...

Good to know that someone had a good experience from the word"Go" I called and spoke to Phil who was not friendly on the phone and he wasn't interested in sending anyone out to quote me.
He said if my concern was budget he would be wasting his time if another company came in and quoted lower. He also said that his charge were more towards "top end" which I have found out they certainly are not. I would have been interested in book for my move but I was totally put off by his manner.
I have seldom encountered anyone who answers a phone to sound so disinterested.
JamieK, I always start prospects as 'A' class and then give them the opportunity to prove they're not. If you call with a small move and are budget minded, there's plenty of other removalists out there to help you and I'm sure you found one.
Sandy and Tom from Moveworx moved my mum to our house last weekend. They were extremely efficient, good natured, careful in the loading and unloading and I would highly recommend this company.

Moveworx came to our aid at the last minute after our original movers were not able to help us in the timeframe we needed. From the very first contact, they were absolutely professional. We even had a piano to move and as we have had it moved before, had some experience to gauge this particular move ... the Moveworx guys did it with ease. I cannot rate them highly enough and have already passed their details on to friends !

Moveworx were efficient and friendly and worked fast and professionally. They were more than accommodating to make 2 stop offs for our furniture removal. As my 82 year old grandmother moved from Lake Macquarie to Sydney, this was a stressful time for her. Moveworx made her feel relaxed and reassured. Alex & Roy were extremely hard working and nothing was a problem for them. I cannot praise them enough and would recommend them to anyone. All items were carefully moved and no damage or breakages :-)
