MPD Steak Kitchen

Beautiful venue. Very classy. Awesome bar there too in the middle. Exceptional service always, have been here a few times now, and they are never rude or in a hurry. The food is best in the area for steak and a higher end meal. Huge drinks menu, and the food menu looks so good you sometime cant decide on one thing, so you end up with a few things to try. In all a really nice place for a more formal, high end dinning experience.

Amazing decor and very good quality service. Unfortunately the entree of pork crackle was terrible (it reminded me of a prawn cracker in appearance/texture with a sickly sweet chutney on top) - a few others on my table also ordered this and no-one was happy or able to finish it. However, my main more than made up for it, with perfectly cooked steak and fluffy potato chips. It was a bit on the expensive side for what was received but it is worth visiting for something different in the area.

Went here with my family on Christmas Eve, seeking a quality dining experience. The starters were lovely (popcorn chicken, pork rinds), steaks were cooked to perfection and the duck breast was certainly the best I've had. All meals were attractively and carefully presented and it was clear that a lot of attention had been given to the way in which the elements complemented each other.

Sadly most of us had no room left for dessert, however, my husband 'pushed on' and really enjoyed the pav and my son loved the affogato.

Service throughout the evening was excellent and we loved the atmosphere. We can't wait to introduce this venue to our friends.

Really brilliant. For a restaurant that is in a far flung location in the suburbs and not attached to a vineyard, this place delivers top quality produce served in clever well executed dishes. The kitchen team have links to Vue de Monde, which probably explains why. Had a really nice evening.
