Took 2 months to partially complete repairs (quoted 2 weeks), lost parts that were to be returned to me, and continuously lied about the progress of repairs and reasons for the delays. I will never use this company again and warn all other potential customers to avoid at all costs.

Terrible customer service. Lazy receptionists. Lied to about pick up time - was told Tuesday then on Tuesday was told Wednesday etc etc until Saturday and my vehicle is STILL not ready. Manager should definitely get rid of the customer service team there. Was never called back or given any helpful information by reception. The only information I received that was helpful was from a mechanic after demanding to speak with one. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Makes a stressful situation even worse

Rude 'customer service' and inconsistent in information provided. Don't expect updates either.
Took several days just to look at my vehicle. Repair time frame rather unreasonable for what the assessor said SHOULD be a 'quick job.' At this point, my tax return will probably come in sooner than I will receive my car (MSR had a week head start too). My insurer said they monitor their 'preferred repairer' to ensure they aren't twiddling their thumbs or completely overwhlemed too.

The Springwood office is useless no contact unless you call them and even then you get next to no information

They have had our car for over 4 weeks and then tried to give us back the car not finished and wanted us to bring it back in 2 weeks to finish repairs. After we told them we didn’t want the car back till it was properly finished. Looks like it’s going to be at least another 3-4 weeks till we get it back.

Worst thing is racq took the car there and they won’t move it.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE POOR COMMUNICATION AND A LOT OF B###S####. DO NOT USE MSR MT GRAVATT. I am sorry I did not read these and other reviews about MSR before I took my vehicle to its Mt Gravatt branch for some minor repairs. MSR is recommended by RACQ which I am disappointed with. Booked the car in and told 9 days at the most. On day 9 got a call saying they had just received the parts and it would be ready in 3 days. No call on day 12 so rang and told car ready to go to the paint shop. Rang again on day 15 car is in the paint shop but there had been a machinery break down in the spray booth ... would be ready in 3 days (day 17) .However they rang on day 16 saying car was in the paint shop (still) would not be ready but would be ready on day 19. Received a call on day 16 saying a part had not arrived and car would be ready next day (day 20). On day 21 told car could be picked up.
Inspected the car with Trevor. The leather seats and all the interior was covered in dirt and dust. The front of the glove box was scratched and it was obvious they stored parts of the vehicle in the passenger's footwell and the rear of the vehicle. Professional detail costs $150. Trevor was less than sympathetic. On arrival home, the front passenger bumper fog light had fallen out.
This is the worst experience I have ever had with vehicle repairs and will never use MSR again. I would NOT describe MSR MT Gravatt as reputable, professional or reliable.

This is the second time MSR have had one of my cars and the second time its been a disaster. The first car took months, and had so many issues having to go back AT LEAST 5 times for them to fix their mistakes.

This car has been there since mid May. Using the excuse of waiting for parts. 6 times i have had the Estimated Completion date moved back. First date was for 10th of June. It's now July 24 and I am STILL yet to have my car back, now with no clue of when it will be ready. I was told I would be able to pick it up on July 22nd after speaking to a recpetionist the day before. July 22nd comes around, and i was told that no one told me that. They falsified what was recorded in their system, told RACQ and myself two
completely different stories, with what was left to fix.

This is by far the absolute worst service I have ever seen. I am absolutely disgusted by my whole experience. How they can be a trusted mechanic with RACQ is beyond me.I urge anyone to not use this terrible service and if RACQ still have them listed after this situation, I would strongly suggest you say no if they ask.Every time I called I was lied to and expected that I just believe
whatever obviously untrue 'explanations' that would be given, because I am a young female, who of course is expected to know nothing about cars. I'm utterly disgusted.Do yourself a favour and DO NOT USE THIS AWFUL REPAIRER

Very disappointed in the service! First time I used them, almost 2 years ago, they were wonderful. Now - forget it! They are a lot busier now, so they try to talk you out of using them!! After being told I would be better taking it elsewhere and me arguing, they finally agreed and so I booked it in. They said it would take 4-5 days so on the 6th day I was reasonably annoyed. They said they kept getting damaged bonnets in for my car but didnt feel it was necessary customer service to let me know this before I went off! I think they only did a little work on my car after I told them I would be in that morning to look at it... Many more phone calls and apologies later and it was ready for collection, minus one part which was on backorder. I was told that it would be on backorder until september and they would call me to get it done asap. All was good or so i though until November when I still hadn't heard!!! Furious, I called up and spoke to the receptionist who is a real piece of work! The staff ummed and ahhed uncomfortably, asking ME which part was still needed and when they supposedly ordered it, which made me think this part was never even ordered! The staff said they would follow up with the management and get back to me. I told them that was fine but added that I was pretty unhappy in general. The staff interrupted me and said "Let me just stop you there before you go on and I will call you back!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME - THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE?? After 20mins and no call back, I called back and asked to speak to the management. The staff said they will have the management call me back! I received NO phone call back from the management and my car is still not fixed?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WARN YOU! DONT USE THESE PATHETIC EXCUSES FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I took my car to this company to have some hail damage repaired, after waiting over a year they finally took the car in to do the work, after waiting another 2 months i got a call to say that it was ready, upon inspection i noticed they had not replaced one of the decals and was told you can no longer get them (funny because a 2 minute search of ebay found plenty of them) I then paid the excess and drove to the end of the street where i went to open the electric roof blinds, 2 did not work!! I took it straight back and they took it in. A week later i got a call saying the blinds in question were worn out and it was not their fault even though they were working just fine before they took it in, they then sent me pictures that clearly showed that parts had been broken off. When i argued the point i was told in no uncertain terms that they where going to put it back together and tough luck. I now am in a battle with the insurance company to resolve this problem. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you have any pride in your car, their work is very poor and their customer service is none existent, They are rude and once they have your money they don't want to know you

Nobody likes to have to spend $3K getting dings & dents removed from a vehicle with less than 2K KM's on the clock (Wifey's new vehicle). So, I wasn't exactly delighted to be dealing with a crash repair workshop. I got lucky when I picked MSR. A very slick professional business. I dealt with Tony who I guess is the boss. He personally ensured I understood why the repairs were going to cost as much as they did and he went easy on me because I decided to go private V claim from my insurance. The job was done on the date promised and Wifey picked it up. She was very happy with the repairs, the vehicle to her eye was as good as new again. However I'm picky and brought the vehicle back as there was a very small defect in one of the components used in the repair. Tony took immediate responsibility to personally ensure the defect was fixed. 100% first class service. I know getting your car straightened out is a joyless experience but believe me, it will be a lot less painful if you choose this mob.
