This is definitely a uni student joint. Went for a quick lunch today and the area was teeming with students. I ordered a pork oyakodon(pork with egg gravy) rice and my partner had a chicken Katsudon. I was disappointed with my pork dish as had teeny weeny slivers of pork, though the egg gravy had ok flavour. My partner's chicken cutlet was more generous in portion but looked a bit overlooked. Plenty of rice for both options, so it is a tummy filler for $7.90, but I don't think I will be rushing back.

This is my favourite place for cheap & good Japanese food around UWA. The food is tasty and delicious, and very well priced. I love the chicken katsu curry ($6.90) and also the katsu sushi rolls ($5.50 for 6). It is a popular food joint with UWA students and seating can be limited especially during lunch & dinner peak hours, so takeaway is usually the best option. This humble little shop is bound to satisfy your Japanese cravings without burning a hole in your pocket :)

This is the best place to buy sushi lunch box that very close to UWA. They offer a varieties of freshly made sushi at very good price. A box of 6 pieces terayaki chicken sushi is only $5!!!!.This become my favorite for weekly sushi treats!
