Have been going to Nando's since the early 80's. The toppings are very generous and the quality has been consistent over the years Price can be a little on the high side, but if you compare the quality with other pizza places, it is a small cost to bear.
We've been enjoying pizzas from Nandos in Feltham since about 2004 and they're always consistent. They're unique in that they have a 'standard' pizza menu (where they stack the toppings a mile high), a gourmet menu (haven't gotten to try anything off that one yet) and an 'economy' menu - which is the menu I normally order from. From what I've tried off the standard and economy menus, the economy pizzas are just as good as the standard ones, they just have less toppings. But in saying that, Nandos' 'less' is pretty much the norm for other pizza places (eg. Pizza hut 2 doors down) but so much better. I just got the economy Vegetarian (for the ump-teenth time) and it had plenty of yummy veg toppings and cheese over their signature 'just ever so slightly sweet' tomato base - all for only $8. Tasty, affordable AND support a local business all in one visit? Count me in! If you're in the Eltham area and have a procket full of coin but a rumbling tummy, head to Nandos Pizza!!!
Approximate cost: $10
this is my aunties local pizza shop every time i visit we get takeaway pizzas from here, always lots of toppings and nice bases the service has always been fantastic when i have been there, very decently priced
This is our go to pizza place particularly when we are in the eltham area! They are super consistent and prices are good. Loads of topping and full of flavour! Just wish they had some meal deals!
How good are they! They always do a lot of topping which is why I always chose these guys1!!
The pizzas we ordered took 40 minutes and were pretty average to eat. The young man who delivered them was really lovely but I don't think it was worth it.
Approximate cost: $14
Best take away pizza in Eltham. Probably not the best pizza if you are trying to lose weight (i.e. a little on the greasy side) but the yummiest pizza in the Eltham area.
Approximate cost: $15
My grandparents used to say Nando's was the best pizza in Melbourne, and I agreed! The pizzas on offer are the standard sorts, but the toppings are thicker than most other places. A Pizza Hut opened next door (predatory) in the 1990s, and I could never understand why anyone went there. Nando's has always been a little bit expensive, but it's light years ahead of the chains in quality. It also predated that African chicken chain of the same name in Australia by a long way.
i agree, it is the best in Eltham, although i always thought it was cheaper than that place next door! They also delivered to my sons birthday party at Westerfolds park this year in May. The pizza's were great. There economy pizzas are pretty good too.
A good quality traditional take-out pizza. You won't find lamb pizzas or chicken tandoori pizzas or even roasted pumpkin pizzas at Nando's, but you will get a good tasting, topping filled pizza - like they made when I was a kid. Have ordered from here several times and haven't had a bad experience with them. Always courteous on the phone as well.
Approximate cost: $20.00/family size pizza
You have to have to have to try this pizza out! Yes they are called Nando's... No they have nothing to do with the chicken franchise! These pizza's are fantastic in size, toppings everything.. My friends and I have driven across town just to get these pizza's! Trust me they are GOOD!
