Approached this hairdressing salon to schedule an appointment for my infant sons hair. I waited at the front counter for 10 minutes. Two hairdressers close to me looked at me then back at their clients. Not even a "i'll be with you in a minute". This is pitiful service. Won't be ever going back.

I have been with a previous hairdresser for 25yrs and she stopped listening to me. I was a real pleasure to find a young girl here who not only listened, but kept me informed of what she was going to do. A delight I must say. Abit on the expensive side, but who cares with that service.

Forget the previous comment that I made.... I went back for a second visit and it was horrendous. The attitude from the hairdresser involved is nothing short of down right rude. Asked for a slight trim and colour. I was supposed to be having blonde but obviously she was colour blind as I ended up looking like a carrot with very very short crew cut. When told I was not happy, I was told this is what I wanted and if she has to fix it, I will be putting out her other customers.I told the girl at the desk who is constantly on her mobile sorting out her social life, that I am not paying for such rubbish. She did give me a slight discount when I told her my daughter will be in contact. She said what has your daughter got to do with it. I told her she is a lawyer. Her tune changed quickly.
My advise is, if you are from this area, give "Valley Cuts" a go. I went in there today and they are fabulous.Pam was very nice and listened to what I wanted and gave advise.I will be a return visitor and so will my friends.

It is hard to put into words how BAD this place is. The cut, the colour, the atmosphere and most of all, the TERRIBLE AWFUL customer service. The hairdressers look sad and if the lady I spoke to is in charge, it's no wonder. There was no consultation and a complete misunderstanding with what I wanted. When I rang the next day, the lady was already aware of me and my disappointment with the service and blamed me. When I tried to explain why I was upset, she told me that wasn't true! I told her I didn't want anything more from her, just to let her know what had happened and when she continued to argue, I said I was just wanting to let her know as a customer. She actually said "and so the customer is always right?". Wow.... how do you respond to that? I can't say enough that you should NOT go to this place. I have since found out they offer a lot of coupons and I can see why. I can imagine that they don't get any repeat business. DON'T GO HERE. Cut your own hair, even with your eyes closed. I'm sure you'd do a better job.

This was the worst hairdressing experience of my life. I waited over an hour past my appointment to get attended to. Was not offered a coffee or anything. Because I was on a special deal which was to include half head foils I was told when I sat in the chair I can only have blonde (this was not specified in the special deal ad!). When I tried to tell the owner/manager she talked over the top of me and said I had to pay more if I wanted any other colour in there. The blonde foils "bled" all over my partline and I was left with an awful yellow blob and stinging for days on the scap! She tried to tell me that "this was just how my hair is". What is that supposed to mean!! She said she cld fix it at another cost of $25.00 for toner and denied that they did anything wrong that this was my hair. I tried to tell her that in 30 years of having my hair done I never came out looking like this. She wld not listen. Then the girl doing my hair went off to cut someone else's hair - not her fault prob. at the bosses direction and I was left sitting for ages with wet dripping hair and noone even came to tell me "won't be long we will attend to drying ur hair shortly". I ended up going up to the manager saying "shld I get a blow dryer and start drying my own hair???!!!". I left stressed and have not recovered yet. I sought advice from other professional hairdressers in the centre and they said my colour clearly bled onto the scalp and parts of the hair that it shldn't have and they shld have put a few low light foils in to correct it. I have not wanted to go out all weekend. My friends are appalled at how my hair looks and I have to go and pay more money and spend more time this week to get my hair corrected. Also I was told that the deal included a blow dry not a blow wave after I sat in the chair and the way I looked when I came out was a definate case of hot air drying my hair whichever way it pleased so yes, it was dry but looked awful. I found the customer service appalling and rude. I will never ever go back or recommend them to anyone.

so many bad experience in the one visit. Firstly the hairdresser didn't bother washing his hands after his smoke before he washed my hair. Second of all i asked him to blow wave my hair straight. My hair has so many lumps and bumps in it! when he finished and i asked him if he could go over it with a straightner all i received was dirty looks. I was so upset as i had to go to wedding that day. When i called Monday to make a complaint with the manager she said she would call me back but didnt instead gave my mobile number to the guy who did my hair.

I agree so many bad experiences in the one visit! First of all my appointment was for 11 am and I rushed to get there on time. I was not attended to till abt 12.15. I was supposed to have the senior hairdresser but when I was bored waiting and said I'll stick my head next door and be back in 5 she started working on someone else (quickly rushed the person after me into the chair when I stepped out for a moment) then I got the junior who just knocked on. I bought a deal voucher that was supposed to include 1/2 head foils. It never specified one colour only. Most deals have always let me mix low light with highlight. The boss who was so unwelcoming said I can only have blonde foils (I wanted two blonde one brown) and that if I wanted brown I had to pay for it. I said it wasn't specified in the ad that it was mono colour blonde only. She just kept talking over me and wldn't listen. I did not have spare money so already had to go with what I did not want. Then she told me it is a blow dry off not a blow wave - well I feel this was misleading and basically I had the blow dryer blown around my head like hot wind and the final finish was awful. It was dried hair alright but not at all flattering! That was not the worst part. I clearly without a doubt had what is referred to as "bleeding" where the blonde cream dripped onto parts of my scalp and spread around to make this awful yellow looking big blob on half my part-line. It was and is truly awful!!! Everyone that sees it shakes their head in horror. I have not even wanted to go out anywhere this weekend bcoz it looks so awful. She said they did nothing wrong and its bcoz I have to pay $25.00 for toner to fix it. I said I have had foils for 15 years and this has NEVER happened. She kept talking over the top of me sayings its just my hair - thats the way it looks and they did nothing wrong and its bcoz i have to pay $25 to put toner on. I went in the shopping centre to another salon after this to show them. They said they mucked it up and it was a clear case of colour "bleeding" and that they should put a few darker woven foils in that spot to repair it. Three other senior hairdressers told me the same thing. Of course she wld not admit this. I was never offered a coffee or anything for that 1 hour I had to wait past my appointment - the owner was rude, insulting my intelligence (trying to pull the wool over my eyes that its "just my hair" whatever that means and not admitting that they were at fault and repairing it). I now have to spend money to go elsewhere to repair it. I'm embarrassed to go to work tomorrow bcoz I showed off on thurs. that on Fri I was going for my supposed $300 stunning makeover for $49.00 and now I have to go to work and they can all see how awful it looks. The salon owner/manager had no customer relation skills, cared nothing about the customer, cared about making more dollars, and spent all her time on the phone with friends planning her social life. Sure she might be the boss but showing such disinterest in the business by flogging off customers, making them feel unwelcomed, insulting their intelligence is not a good look. Oh and I forgot to mention. After my hair was rinsed in an uncaring manner with water flowing allover my face they put me in a chair while the girl that had been working on my hair went to cut another customer's hair. I was just sitting there and sitting there. No-one said to me "won't be long" or anything. I was ready to explode by this stage. I went to the manager and said "Shall I get a hair dryer and start drying my own hair?". I am still stressed over this experience. I had to take two headache tablets when I got home as I thought my head would explode (usually I avoid tablets unless its unbearable). My scalp has been stingy bcoz of the dye "bleeding" onto it. It was a total nighmare. I would never ever recommend anyone to go there. I since found out there is a weekend manager who I spoke with. She sounded truly lovely and compassionate so perhaps if you go then go on a weekend when the lovely weekend manager is on and maybe you will have a better experience! Good luck.
