Good little place to visit, but nothing spectacular. The sort of place you visit once, but don't need a lot of time in unless you're going to read every label on every vehicle. An interesting video was playing about Peter Brock. Some nice memorabilia/racing items available for sale in the shop. Wouldn't want to pay any more than what's charged.

A good range of Bathurst racing souvenirs. Thought they may have a few more model cars available to purchase. We arrived at 4.25pm. The sign on the gate said that gates close at 5pm, so assumed that museum and shop were the same, but they close at 4.30pm, so couldnt have a look at museum.
This confusing sign obviously catches a lot of people, because, as we were being herded out the door, 2 carloads of other people tried to enter the shop, but were turned away, and another group were just getting out of their vehicle.
This is not a very good way to encourage tourists, I dont think, so should be clearer signage to avoid this disappointment for visitors.

Yes I concur. After having lived there, I did much the same. The INFO centre has made notice/complaint many times over years but no changes yet.
