BEWARE I had someone arrive at my door saying they were here to do the annual white ant inspection. They did not ask for the owner and it was not prearranged they just knocked on the door.
I have someone working at my house who answered the door and presumed that it was OK so they proceeded to walk around the house doing an inspection and at the end told him it was $220 so he stupidly went ahead and paid on credit card thinking he was doing the right thing.
Unfortunately he didn't know that I had already had an inspection a few months before.
These people were in the street all week knocking on doors looking for work.
I would regard this as a scam and should not be allowed.

These guys put a termite barrier around our house a couple of years ago and come back each year to do an inspection. They are always friendly and helpful if I have questions.
