New Chung Shan Licensed Chinese Restaurant

This place has been a Chermside staple for a lot time. Because of its long history it isn't really good Chinese food, but some dishes do stand out. The best Chinese tofu on the north side.

Lunch time specials made up of a good variety of dishes, consistently prepared very well and excellent service. Appreciated the quality of both the Chicken and Almond and the Steak and Cashews dish and the venue is consistent in terms of quality having ordered several times.

Went in large group for birthday celebrations. One table chose banquet, but our table chose to each order a main separately, to share, and 2 special fried rice. Ours was amazing, plentiful.
Only dissapoint was the "deep fried ice-cream" .. it had no coating on it and didnt appear deep fried. Tasted OK with coconut and caramel on top.
Beautiful food, very fast serice and pleasant staff. When splitting bill, with drinks, it averaged out approx $30 per head.
