If you are looking for a restaurant with good food and a reasonable price, New Shanghai is the place to be. First thing and the reason I think is famous for, dumplings are just one of the best you can get in Sydney. Maybe not as good as some other dumplings restaurants but close enough. I recommend you not just go for the dumplings, there is quite a lot of Shanghainese dishes you can get for a very good price. The service is very efficient and my only concern is that on the weekend is very busy, so you might need to wait before you get a table. Highly recommended place!

Very nice food! One of my favorite place for Shanghainess food. Have been there for so many times and just had lunch there today. Even my little one loves the food and willing to really SIT and EAT.

My Yum Cha place of choice, OK there are possible better but this one is Conveniently placed within the Westfield shopping complexe and huge, the busy ness of this palce gaurantees fresh food, the clientele when looking around are happy and some look like they live there, so that says good.
I love this place and the food just kkeps coming, dont worry it will come back if your busy, they have many trolleys going around and they are continuously stocked.

We love having Yum Cha here there is a excellent selection of Chinese dishes and they just keep coming around. The restaurant is so big and usually so busy that everything is fresh as it just keeps being made as they go. Very good service, and a good place to go before or after a movie as its opposite Hoyt's, and there is of course Myer, DJ's and hundred of shops in one of the best Westfields.

I had chicken dumplings and they were fresh and delicious. the service was good but had a minimum $30 spent to use card, luckily i had cash. i will def come again.
