Wonderful ,the staff made all the difference,they were so helpful, & caring, from the cleaners to the nurses.Nothing was a bother to any of them.Very comfortable bed & room & great food. Best hospital I've stayed at.

I recently gave birth to my first child. The midwives in the birthing suite were fantastic. The maternity ward however was severely understaffed. Some of the nurses were unfriendly and patronising, I felt very uncomfortable with them. The food was poorly made and small portions - post partum ladies trying to breastfeed need lots of food.

I had to return within a few days because my baby needed to go into special care, and I found the care to be inconsistent and the nurses were overbearing and kept trying to change breastfeeding schedules every shift. I didn't know which way was up, which was unneeded pressure when I was trying to concentrate on my baby's health.

My obstetrician delivers at NPH so I will have to return, but I'm not looking forward to the maternity ward experience.

I just recently had my first child at this hospital and I was very impressed. The birthing suites are well equipped with everything you need during labour and the midwives are excellent and extremely hepful. They made me feel at ease while I was freaking out about delivery.

I had a 5 night stay after birth and all the nurses/midwives I had helping me were very nice, helpful and knowledgable. The food wasnt too bad for hospital food and the cafe on site was yum! My husband was even able to stay in the room with me over night which was awesome.

Will definately go back next time I am due to give birth and recommend to anyone!

If you need to go into hospital for any gyneacological work this is the place to go.
The Maternity section have the best nurses, kitchen and cleaning staff. They are all friendly, helpful and nothing is a trouble for them.

I have had two children at the Newcastle Private Hospital and overall the experience has been good. A little understaffed and sometimes very busy but the nurses are lovely, experienced and happy to do what they can for you. If I was to have another I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

My wife recently delivered our first child by c section at this hospital. The staff were great and facilities were excellent and well maintained. We will definately use them again for our second child.
