This is my friend's family go-to fish and chip shop, and I must say it's very nice. The staff were super friendly and there was hardly any waiting time. There's no frills about this shop - no eat in facilities but there are chairs to wait for your order.

It's a main street so some traffic, but there is middle of the road parking and the shop seems to be busy from customers from the surrounding businesses and other shoppers.

Our food was nicely cooked and the serve of chips - quite a reasonable size for minimum at around $3.50 or so - were crisp and good. It's fairly standard fish and chip fare. Nothing fancy, just a good local fish shop.

I have been going to this fish & chip for years and in the past 4 years since Ive moved from the Newport area, I still travel a 30 minute round trip to buy our fish & chips from Newport sea catch. The food is fresh, well cooked and the staff are exceptionally friendly no matter how busy they are.

A good fish and chippery. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food is tasty but not the best in the area. Good range on offer and the prices are good.

A great little fish and chip shop!! They have done up the front a bit which makes it look a lot better. Inside is basic - a few chairs to sit on while you wait to pick up your order. But it's the quality of the products and the perfect cooking that makes you come back!! Service is excellent, very friendly, very welcoming! Prices are very competitive with what else is around.

Mohammed is always friendly & polite - he calls me mam & I'm not that much older than him! He always throws in an extra potato cake! Go for the special flake, it's more expensive, but so worth it!
