The food is always delicious. The staff are super friendly. They are kid friendly too... even with my rather loud children. The lunch specials are great value for money.

I had to come and check this place out, after reading a fellow-member's review. The approval wasn't wrong. This is a great pizza and pasta place, a cut above your average. The 'dine in' experience has been taken outside with some tables on the footpath and the whole shopfront opens to the street, so although you are on the inside, you can see and feel the passing parade and breezes of Altona.

They have a wide menu, with main meals, breakfast items and even a dessert pizza. Among our family order were two traditional pizzas like capricciosa which was loaded with toppings and extremely good. I had the satay chicken with mushrooms and this was totally divine. Wish I had've got a bigger size, it was so delectable.

But the reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the pasta let them down. One of us had the penne with chicken, mushrooms, bacon and sundried tomatoes - called Chef's Special. When in fact it was badly named. Nothing special about it at all. Cooked pasta with chicken pieces, a sprinkling of tomato and right down the bottom of the container was a slight drizzle of sauce. Very bland indeed and disappointing - expected it to be much better than this.

So, we'll give them another go on some other night and my pasta friend will try something else instead.

Weekdays they open until 10.00. Friday and Saturday until LATE. Open for breakfast on Sat. and Sun. at 8.30. They deliver of course, and now they are fully licensed and deliver alcohol as well.

Just clearly the best pizza place in the west, if not all of Melbourne...
The chicken parma is a favorite of mine and the menu is large. Haven't tried the breakfast pizza yet but know people who rave on about them.
10/10

excellent little pizza and pasta joint in a great location. The pizzas are reasonably priced and very tasty - I had the American which is a simple pizza, but they did it extremely well. Will definitely go here again.

Been going there for 15 years, changed owners 3 times and each new owner has made it better. Great to eat in or bring home, but delivery can be hit and miss, but you get delivery when you can eat in pier st.

Approximate cost: $13

The pizza toppings are generous and taste good. You can even reheat any left
overs and it'll taste like it was just made. The base is cooked just right.
l can't fault these pizzas.
