Unfortunately over recent years I have had cause to be involved, in some part, in arranging the funerals of loved ones. On this occasion we engaged the services of Oakdale Funerals. The whole family couldn’t have been more happy with the service afforded to us. In particular the respect shown our dearly departed loved one. There attention to detail was terrific, and no request in preparation for the funeral, no matter how peculiar seemed to phase them. David and Anne from Oakdale Funerals were fantastic in guiding the family through the process and preparation for the funeral day. Anne & David were referred by a trusted friend and we couldn't have made a better choice to help us celebrate the life of my Pop. They weren't just available, responsive and easy to deal with; they were wonderful at listening to what Pop wanted and suggesting some beautiful left of centre ideas that worked perfectly. We chose to ditch the formal traditions and have a lovely, laid back informal celebration where we traded stories, laughter and tears.
My family was overwhelmed with the level of service provided by Anne and David and their attention to detail. They felt less like service providers and much more like friends.
