When my mum's husband died suddenly in December, mum instantly said call Anne from Oakdale. We had worked with Anne only 18 months earlier for my sister's funeral. Again, organising this funeral was made with ease with the assistance of Anne's gentle and caring nature, especially at this busy time of year. Anne allows you to add your own personal touch to celebrate your loved one, as well as providing the expertise and answers to questions in such a comforting way. She is very accommodating and really takes the time to get to know the family, especially for the ceremony. The other thing about Anne is she has always followed up after the event with a phone call or email — to see how everyone is going. Such a personal touch. Hopefully I won't need to arrange another funeral in the near future but I know Oakdale Funerals will be the people I will turn to if necessary. Thank you Anne and David.

We were blessed to have found Anne and David who were incredibly personable and warm throughout all of the planning for the service. They kept us well informed and paid excellent attention to detail from the; Service brochure, to the flowers, the making of the video, the celebrant's facilitation, to the final farewell with the leaving of the Hurst. When my 29 year old daughter passed away and I needed to organise a funeral the one thing I did know is that I did not want a tradiditional funeral service. I noticed Oakdale accomodated different services. From the first contact with Anne nothing was too much trouble. Anne came and meet with the family and fully understood our request for a farewell rather than a traditional funeral service. The team of businesses that Oakdale work with are all of a very high standard. Anne remained in the loop of every little detail nothing was too much trouble. I was constantly kept in the loop as to the cost so no surprises. The first thing that stood out about Oakdale was the fact that they quoted their professional fee up front, and noted all additional costs in an itemised list. I wanted a very simple funeral for my mother, and at no point was I subjected to a 'hard sell' or pressured into adding any elements that I didn't want. Anne responded very promptly to all my queries and worked quickly to organise my mother's funeral in under three days.
