Obaltan Korean Charcoal BBQ Restaurant

They Provide Very Good Services. The Staff is very good.

Elizabeth Street is Brisbane's Korea Town. The most popular Korean restaurants don't really specialise in Barbecue (Koreans eat lots of other food too). So Obaltan is one of the better places to go to enjoy Korean Barbecue.

Lots of students head here (Korean and Chinese usually), so get in early, go later and avoid Friday nights.

I recently had dinner here with friends and was amazed at how good value it was. There were 6 of us and we had beers, shots and many different dishes and it worked out to be $50 per person. I have never eaten so much in one meal and the food was fantastic. The place is clean and inviting and it was oe of the best meals I have ever had. I highly recommend it to anyone as they have a huge menu.

I love all Korean style BBQ there. So many Korean people were eating. It seemed very popular Korean restaurant. I liked Pork Belly BBQ. Side dishes were good, too.

BBQ is really good, but other dishes were just ok. Very friendly atmosphere. They have very good kimchi.

This was the only restaurant open when we were there over Christmas break so we gave it a try.It's certainly different from other Korean BBQ restaurants, I thought this was much better. It was really busy that night but still service was good.Food was nice as well.

Went here while on hols in Brissy and I was blown away by the great food here. The BBQ is so good! Service is fantastic and the free sides (free refills too) were yummy! By far the best BimBimBap I have had here in Oz too. Must try if you are in the area
