I would never recommend the Old Spot Hotel to anyone to eat there as I had the worst meal of my life there today for Mothers day lunch.
Basic, wash spinach before using.
Worst cook ever, I would not even have them prepare food for my dog.

Approximate cost: $30

Staff stand around talking and even look at you while having a chat. Okay covid has rules but make it all for all. One gentleman thought it was okay to be a smart telling my off for vaping in the beer garden because it was lunch . They had two people in the restaurant. Numerous people approached the bar with no face mask so I did only to be told put your mask on lol , was a local obviously.

My friend I have eaten here once a month for 4 years. Six months ago they removed their salad & vegetable bar plus they put their prices up. The manager eventually replied after I twice wrote him a complaint. He advised he is never going to replace the salad/ vegie bar. I have food allergies that are not catered for my their one size fits all cupped salad. Sorry to some of the lovely staff at Old Spot but you have lost us as customers. Even with the 2 for 1 vouchers the manager sent me the value is pathetic,
plus its lost its atmosphere, dining room is empty place is dull.

Approximate cost: $19.99

9 of us went here for Mothers Day lunch. The decor hasn't changed in years and is tired and outdated. The dining room was full. The menu was your typical 'pub grub' but way over priced. I ordered Salt & Pepper squid for $26. An hour and a quarter later our meals arrived. One of the meals was incorrect and after being told that other people would be served first and the staff shrugging their shoulders and saying they had no idea how long the replacement meal would be, we gave up and asked for a refund.

My salt & pepper squid wasn't bad and came with chips but no tartare sauce, very basic presentation and certainly not $26 worthy. I know were weren't the only unhappy customers and the staff must've had enough complaints for one day because no-one apologised for the delay or seemed like they even cared.

It made our Mothers Day very average. Sorry, but won't be going back.

front bar meals are as expected for a pub. restaurant is good, but a little pricey. lots of beers available. drive through is well stocked. hard to enjoy a meal while listening to pokies.

This hotel has the best drive through for alcohol choices that i have found. They have renovated and updated and made a big difference. Worth going out of your way for.
