Love the roti with egg which is baked fresh and the curries are really yummy. I really like the roasted Hainan chicken rice too. Most singaporean/malaysian restaurants only have the normal hainan chicken rice but Old Town has the roasted one which is really delicious. The restaurant is always busy so service might be a little slow, but the flavours of their food definitely compensated for that!

Roasted chicken rice sounds good, can't wait to try it!

Went to try their famous roti canai...but was a little disappointed, as the roti and the accompanying dhal arrived cold. Also ordered ban cheng kui, which is like a Malaysian folded pancake/crepe filled with crushed peanut and sweet corn. Was a little disappointed again, but it could be that I was expecting my Mum's homemade thick crusted ban cheng kui. I thought the portion was a little stingy. The service was ok but the interior was nicely decorated.

Roti at only $4.50...how can i resist? This place is always busy, wait staff are all very young and inexperienced. This is a place eat and go. Definetely would go for a quick bite.

THE mAGGIE Mee goreng was cooked to perfection. lots of flavour but..the portion was a bit stingy. only one prwan, a few fish cake was given. I could basically count the number of ingredients in it. but the taste was there! The beef soup noodles was terrible...the sauce was horrible and the noodles were all sticking together wehn served! terrible. the waiters were also pretty inefficient. I asked for 3 empty glasses 3 times and only at the fourth time it was given to me...terribel service i would say...

Approximate cost: $10

We dined here as a family. We ordered mostly Asian dishes. Food is a bit expensive but the location is good. Right in the city centre and easy access to it. The taste is good.

A well known landmark in malaysia. the rice dishes is not as authentic and tasted very blend. Their coffee is a must try drink. Strong aroma and full of flavour. Hopefully they can improve on their curries and rice dish. Below expectation
