Service was fast and efficient. As mentioned previously the bento's are really good value although maybe getting a little too pricey. The tempura was a little oily but still crispy on the outside, agedashi tofu was silky soft, salad was fresh as it should be and what I loved the most was the tangy dressing. Green tea ice cream was a nice end to the meal.

Went to try their famous roti canai...but was a little disappointed, as the roti and the accompanying dhal arrived cold. Also ordered ban cheng kui, which is like a Malaysian folded pancake/crepe filled with crushed peanut and sweet corn. Was a little disappointed again, but it could be that I was expecting my Mum's homemade thick crusted ban cheng kui. I thought the portion was a little stingy. The service was ok but the interior was nicely decorated.

The food at Crossways reminds me of the vegetarian restaurant at my university. Very filling meal of rice with main of the day and pappadams, and includes dessert served with custard and drinks available are cordial and yoghurt lassi. The place is good if you don't mind all the carbs. They have increased the concession price to $5.50 but still good value.

Took my friend to this place for dinner on Tuesday night and we had lamb rendang and nasi lemak. The plate serving was quite big for both. The taste was your usual vegetarian meat (made of soy products), maybe it's because I eat this at home too so the taste was nothing special for me, as there is a vegetarian market next door where you can buy the vegetarian meat they use in their dishes. For dessert we tried the ice kachang which was ok, maybe could have included more filling. Free tea is given when you sit down. But this place is not open on Mondays.

Came here on Sunday night and the place was full so had to wait for a table. Next time will know to book ahead on weekends. The first thing you notice is the beautiful interior and extremely friendly service. Tried the pad thai, grill satay, and spaghetti green curry. The green curry was the best. And loved the plate presentation for each dish. Will be going back to try their other dishes. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering a selection of coffee and hot chocolate as well. Definitely recommend trying out this newly opened restaurant/cafe.
Only con was waiting for a table, there was enough space to fit one more table for 4, but maybe they weren't expecting so many customers that night.
