The staff were very nice here. This review isn’t about that. It’s because
They sold me 3 birds that died within days. The first had a large tumar on tv e side of its head, and died the night I bought it. The other two died the day after from a disease. I am now hoping that my other birds don’t get the same disease.

The new employee there with a wiry beard is fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. He took our purchases to my car as a matter of course. I will definitely shop there again.

I recently bought chickens and thought the way the assistant handled the chickens was cruel. When I asked why he picked them up by their feet the assistant said that this was the easiest way of handling large numbers of chickens. I said that my chickens would never be treated like this again. I then mentioned my concerns to the bloke at the checkout and he said nothing and looked at me blankly. If they treat their animals this way in the presence of customers how will they treat them when we are not watching.

this place is huge and awesome, has everything you could possibly need for your pet and its needs. got my cat a scratch post from there and it was great value for money and is more sturdy then most scratch post i have seen in other places. :)

I bought 4 chickens (point of lay) on Saturday 31/8. We got everything we needed for them. Food, straw, water & food dispensers, worming solution. They even clipped the chicken's wings for no extra charge!

Everyone knew exactly what we needed to know, they were efficient, friendly & only too happy to help! Right down to there being a bag of chicken feed at the counter that we hadn't even asked for yet :)

We had popped in the week before to get some other bits & again, the guy we spoke to answered all our questions for us! Really impressed with the service & even though it is a good 30/40 minute drive from us, I don't think I will use another pet store again!

They have huge bags of straw for just $4. 20kg of feed - $16.

They are well worth a visit if you have a pet! They sell various animals from fish to chickens, but cater for a whole range of animals, with heaps of items on sale!

They also have a large outdoor garden centre for all your plant needs.

Great selection of pet foods and products. Great prices and good service with a friendly smile. They have pretty much everything here from grains and fodder to a great selection of dog foods. They also sell a variety of animals including rabbits, reptiles and fish.

I stopped here recently to get some fish and was quite surprised how much variety they have inside. Much more than I thought of in the way of animals and all their various needs. Staff were patient and the prices seemed reasonable.
