I bought 4 chickens (point of lay) on Saturday 31/8. We got everything we needed for them. Food, straw, water & food dispensers, worming solution. They even clipped the chicken's wings for no extra charge!

Everyone knew exactly what we needed to know, they were efficient, friendly & only too happy to help! Right down to there being a bag of chicken feed at the counter that we hadn't even asked for yet :)

We had popped in the week before to get some other bits & again, the guy we spoke to answered all our questions for us! Really impressed with the service & even though it is a good 30/40 minute drive from us, I don't think I will use another pet store again!

They have huge bags of straw for just $4. 20kg of feed - $16.

They are well worth a visit if you have a pet! They sell various animals from fish to chickens, but cater for a whole range of animals, with heaps of items on sale!

They also have a large outdoor garden centre for all your plant needs.

I used the Animal Barn at Onkaparinga for a child's birthday. They catered it for me, including drinks & biscuits for the adults!

Activities for the children included
Pony rides & grooming
Small animal (rabbits/chicks etc) interaction
Feeding chickens, ducks, ponies, goats (all food supplied)
Making a feed cake for the pigs & feeding it to them
Toy tractors to play on

The great thing was that I got to be fully involved as I didn't have to organise/cook food etc nor did I have to clear up Bonus!! All I supplied was the birthday cake & lolly bags!

It was a great day!

Word of warning, if it is a wet day (or has been wet) don't dress the kids up & wear gum boots! As you would expect for an animal barn, it does get muddy when wet!

Best Yiros this side of the city, I reckon! Good size portions, fresh salads, desserts & meat. A wide selection of sauces for the meat & well wrapped so they don't lose heat! Hot chips not too salty like some places, good size portions again. They take telephone orders & EFTPOS.

Only downside is, they seem to close quite early of an evening.

We stayed here last year as we won a night in a hotel in a competition. Valet parking (included) was efficient, with friendly staff.

We ordered room service for breakfast. That was prompt. The continental breakfast was a disappointment, with small (almost bite sized) pastries, and as I only ordered two items, I was left feeling hungry. The coffee also came in a cardboard take away cup. My partner had a full English & his was plentiful! His tea came in a proper china tea cup!

The room was clean & nicely looked after.

I can't comment on value (but had to give it a value for the purpose of this review), because as I said, we didn't pay for this overnighter, and if you don't want to be hungry, and fancy a continental, order more than 2 items & 2 of each! And if you like your hot drinks in a cup, don't order a coffee!

I stayed here for one night recently for a special anniversary get-a-way with my husband. The room was pleasant, nicely decorated & clean. We had a lovely city view. We had a complimentary breakfast (we had a package deal). Lots of choice, full English breakfast, Continental, pancakes, fruit, cereal, fresh tea/coffee. Would definitely recommend & stay again!

At Jen's the staff really listen to what you want! I feel like I am part of an extended family, they are so friendly! Great staff, great atmosphere!

A little on the expensive side now, but the food is always top quality. Only ever used their take our service, so can't talk for dining in, but the service is consistently quick & friendly.

The guys & girls at Pedros can always be trusted to make a great tasting pizza. Always friendly when I call & always beat the delivery time they give us. Food piping hot & tasty every time.
