This shop is quite expensive. They have a good range of glasses. However, I found the woman serving me was aloof and seemed uninterested. I think she just wanted a quick sale.

We went to look at some Channel frames that had been ordered in for us. We had already been assessed for distance lens on a previous visit. When we sat down to order the lens that had been quoted as $109 on our previous visit we were told forcefully that we needed to buy quality lens because we were buying quality frames at a price of $135 per lens including the frames this put the purchase to $840. When we questioned the difference in quoted price we were given some hard sell langauge and a lot of verbal pushing to close the sale. At this stage we were confused as to the change in information so we asked the consultant to hold the frames while we made a decision. we were then told that they could only hold the frames til close of business although they had been especially order in for us. The push to just get the highest possible sale drove us to purchase the frames and call another business who quoted us $150 for both lens and top of the range.
