I don't usually bother with Reviews but I can not speak highly enough of the Manager of OPSM Eastland. My husband did not like his lenses after choosing them and I thought we had basically thrown $1000 down the drain [we had chosen the top line for everything- this is not the standard cost of their basic line and lenses]. I went in to the store and explained my situation expecting to have to pay more to have them changed. The Manager was so quick and efficient. With outstanding customer service and focus he explained that they replace them if the customer is not happy. Not only did I not pay anything, I actually qualified for a refund as store credit as my new lenses were cheaper! I picked another set of frames for my husband. When my husband got home late from work he stated that he would have preferred sunglasses if possible, so I embarrassedly called back the following morning and cancelled the second pair. Even though they had already started preparing them, the manager again addressed my concerns and redid the credit against another product. I am amazed that this level of service and focus on customer satisfaction still exists in this 21st century world. You may pay slightly more for the glasses than in the discount clinics, but you get what you pay for and I believe it is completely worth it. I remember my mum wanting some of her glasses adjusted and tightened from one of the cheap line competitors and they told her to come back when they had more staff!! Well done OPSM. You have raised the benchmark of what type of service I will expect from others in the future!

I have used this service for many years. They are always friendly and have never kept me waiting long. The store is well set out, clean and has a large selection of eye ware.

Admittedly, this business isn't targeted at my demographic (i.e. poor uni student on Centrelink benefits). However, I still didn't like the way they just assumed I was made of money, and talked about money as if it was nothing. They were also very persistent through the mail about my coming back after two years. The staff are quite friendly, however.
They are clearly targeted at people with private health insurance and high incomes. I don't think this business is right for me personally.

Approximate cost: $450

Went here after being dissatisfied with Specsavers next door. Found OPSM more thorough and professional, especially the checks they did on my eyes and the way the optometrist explained things. I felt very confident of their expertise. Was also surprised to find that it didn't feel at all like a 'chain' was just like seeing someone at a small private practice.
