Very impressive outfit. Super busy but they manage it pretty well. The staff are very knowledgeable and patient. Only downside is that even if you have an appointment ahead of the day, you can still end up having to wait a while.

Went here after being dissatisfied with Specsavers next door. Found OPSM more thorough and professional, especially the checks they did on my eyes and the way the optometrist explained things. I felt very confident of their expertise. Was also surprised to find that it didn't feel at all like a 'chain' was just like seeing someone at a small private practice.

Good value for money but the service wasn't great. Saw them several times and each time I was kept waiting a long time and got pretty impersonal service. The glasses they sold me had a faulty coating on them, and didn't fit properly (despite me going back to get them adjusted). They did get the coating fixed in the end (reluctantly sending it off to a lab after at first refusing to admit that it should be covered by the warranty). After my last visit to SpecsSavers, when they left me sitting waiting and then forgot all about me, I was so unimpressed, I went straight next door to OPSM and haven't regretted it.

Tried these guys out as a result of WOMOW reviews and wasn't disappointed. Saw Abby and she did a great job of discussing my needs with me, and of explaining things as we went along. I learned things that no one has bothered to explain in all the decades I've been getting my hair cut and/or coloured.

Got referred to this shop by Apple Support. Tried to phone them only to learn they don't bother answering their phone, just get you to leave a message and they will phone you back. Then learned they only open at 10am. By 10.15 there was still no sign out front and they were really hard to find - no sign inside either, had to wonder around the building til I found them. I finally get to talk to them and they act like they don't want to be bothered by customers, were pretty unprofessional and rude, and they tell me they're closing for 2 weeks as of tomorrow. Seem like a pretty slack outfit and I really am surprised they're still in business. I wasn't game to leave my computer with a company that was so badly organised so not sure how good they are on the actual repairs!

I was keen to spend the money required to get a quality new cut and colour. Specifically booked in with senior stylist and colorist. Very disappointed. Stylist spent maybe 2 secs talking about what I wanted and it was only after the cut that realized he had totally misunderstood what little I had said and given me the opposite. I also found a clump of hair at the back that he'd missed cutting. The colorist spent more time consulting again didn't provide what I'd asked for at all. I'm not that hard to please - this is the first time I've complained about a hairdresser!
