Went to this hotel on the weekend, has since had a make over and called republic.
Make over looks fantastic. We ordered the lamb, which is cooked on a spit, and it was delicious. There was 8 of us, and we had a great night..
The food wasn't pub food, more restaurant quality, no schnitzel to be found which was a pleasant surprise..

Went to the Oriental for the first time in a long time last night. Great atmosphere with a mixed crowd (a lot of after work) and the outdoor area is great for a drink. Friendly, quick service. They also had a young lad playing current tunes which was great. Will definitely be back.
