Went to this hotel on the weekend, has since had a make over and called republic.
Make over looks fantastic. We ordered the lamb, which is cooked on a spit, and it was delicious. There was 8 of us, and we had a great night..
The food wasn't pub food, more restaurant quality, no schnitzel to be found which was a pleasant surprise..

Purchased the SAPORE Grande wood oven from a company in Adelaide. They sell them to retailers across Australia apparently. I did see one in Stratco in SA, but not sure if they sell them anywhere else in SA.
The oven is massive, can fit 5 large pizzas and cook them in 5 minutes, which is fantastic for those parties, or hungry kids :)
My husband also put a whole pig in it for his birthday, and I must say, it was the nicest piece of meat I have ever tasted.

It even warms up our alfresco area... I'm throwing away our bbq and patio heater, all I need is this oven..
