Julie and the staff are professional hairdressers. The ambience, quality service and personal touches are a treat. Julie is an experienced, amazing hair artist and if you have curly hair she is the hairdresser to see. Get your hair done whilst drinking a coffee/tea and enjoy the wonderful hairdresser experience. Big thanks to Julie for giving life to my curls.

Had my hair cut today by Julie and it is the best haircut I g’have ever had. My hair is naturally curly but was looking very sad after all of our time in ISO.
Will not be getting my hair cut by anyone else. Thoroughly recommend her

Rang up to book in an express hair treatment which said $15 on the website, just to bring a little bit of life back to my hair and then asked for a quick dry off as my hair is naturally straight and is fine so will air dry the rest very quickly, I was quoted $85.00 for a BLOWDRY then the additional $15 for the treatment! I then asked them $85 to quickly dry off my hair and was told yes! what an absolute rip off! I expect to pay $85 for a blowdry and to have it straightened/curled but not when I specifically said a quick dry off! Anyway I have since booked in at another hairdresser which uses the SAME TREATMENT product and will do a full blowdry as well for $35! Ive heard Oscar Oscar is expensive and I am happy to pay high price but not $100 for a blowdry and express treatment! RIPOFF

If only there were more stars - the most amazing service by the team, especially Julie who is the best colourist and stylist . Always pampered as soon as you cross the door, and it only gets better the longer your there. Love, love, love my hair

BRILLIANT! I got my hair coloured with highlights by Tania from Oscar Oscar Southland. The colour I was hoping based on a picture was really tricky and unique so I naturally assumed that even the best of the best hairdressers wouldn't be able to give me that look. Two hours in Oscar Oscar, and I was astounded by how PERFECTLY it turned out- it was EXACTLY what I would have hoped for if I knew anything was possible. Also, during the consultation at the beginning, Tania seemed to mind read exactly what I wanted simply by showing a picture. Definitely pricey, but well worth it. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

Only hairdressers that i've ever been happy with. It is pricey (from a males perspective) however the service is second to none. You really do get what you pay for. Massage to start , 2 washes (before and after) and a facial is the standard. They have a rewards/discount program if you book your next appointment. I see Sarah, she's delightful and does a superb haircut.

Came here to die my blonde hair ombré purple, I had a picture of exactly what I wanted.. hair came out a mess of a job, all patchy, so I came back in a few days to redo at no charge.. Got a haircut was charged $120 but think the guy was annoyed at me so he gave me a choppy butchered cut when I asked for layers.. Basically spent like 5 minutes on my hair cut and charged me $120.. Also they make you wait forever, basically whatever time your appointment is, expect to get worked on at least 30 minutes later, so wasting your time reading magazines! I looked around and it seems they do this to everyone, something that would take 2.5 hours at another salon takes them 4-5 hours, anyway the results of my hair (after a total of 10 hours) was a super dark yucky purple which I had to bleach out, no one could even tell my hair was purple, they said my hair was not light enough, but It's cos they don't have the right purple dye (I've died it purple before so I know) but if it's not light enough they should have made it lighter before dying it purple since I gave them a pic of what I wanted, not just put die on my hair and hope for the best, seriously don't go here, such a waste of money and time!! I mean I'm sure they do an all right job but why bother, they're overpriced!! there's so many other place that do a better job, I've been here cos it's convenient but I always have crappy experiences
