recently visited this salon, mmmm i must say not happy with my cut, you leave salon with great style and then to recreate the style yourself is impossible...i have no words to express disappointment. sorry guys....

It's hard to believe that I visited the same salon that others have reviewed so badly. I found the staff genuinely lovely and the woman who cut and coloured my hair was honest about the condition of my hair and what could be achieved in one session. She did a great colour correction, and only cut the amount off that I asked. That has never happened before! I'm never moved to review a service, but so enjoyed my head and hand massages, great colour and style that I thought I should share my experience. Oh, it's pricey, but no more so than an inner city salon.

Walked in and was greated by the ever so charming reception staff within seconds, seated, and catered for by a staff, bringing me magazines,water, and a beautiful tea...absolutely loved the head massage and the hand massages I received and really thought I was getting 5 star treatment.. Or just what I was paying for! Whilst waiting at the basins after getting a treatment I assume, I couldn't help but over hear the comments made towards other staff members, I was quite astounded by this and taken back, the service for my hair was fantastic and on the floor the staff seem very nice and pleasant, it just bothers me that maybe behind that wall they mis-treat each other!!! Horrible words to hear whilst relaxing. Not going back!

I would like to let everyone know about this hairdressing salon ( if you even call it that ) I went to the one in Doncaster and let me tell you worst experience of my life. The staffs there were extremely rude. No customer service what so ever. I am an ex hairdresser myself and I have never seen anything like it. The prices are out of control. Never been so angry ever

Reading these reviews below I am very surprised we are talking about the same salon! I have been going to Oscar Oscar for the past 3 years and I will never look back. I walk in always wanting a change (I work in the fashion industry) but never knowing what I want and they always lead me in the right direction. The skill and technique of these hairdressers in amazing and rare out this way. I had a lot of bad experiences locally and when I found Oscar Oscar I felt so at peace that my hair was now in capable and talented hands. I recommend all my friends and colleagues to Oscar Oscar Doncaster. Defiantly deserve 5*****

I went 3 times (don't know why I kept going back) and each time they gave me something completely different to what I asked for. The skill involved was very good, but they just didn't listen. The last time, halfway through the cut they said they were cutting my hair to make it curlier - I want my hair straight! Took me almost a year to grow out the style.

Went to this salon today the staff was so rude I walked out, will never go again. Completely unprofessional. I don't understand how they have customers when you get treated so rude and have heard this from many people that all of them are just as rude. Really need to do something about the staff as its just unacceptable being treated so badly, especially when your paying top $$$$.

Definately recommend this salon - amazing stylists, best haircuts and colour. Had previous bad experiences with high-end salons in the past but Oscar Oscar have restored my faith in hairdressing. After a disaster of a colour they were able to bring my hair back to life. Definately worth the $$$.

I'll never go to Oscar Salons again!! I had a $110 haircut. I showed one of the stylists the hair cut I wanted, I was told they'd give me something that suited my face and give me a fringe - I said i wanted one that was on the side instead I was given one of those silly Jessie J ones. I was thoroughly disappointed. Will never go back and won't recommend to any of my girlfriends.
