Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this large scale cafe. The food is so reasonable in price, fresh & healty in ingredients & modern in presentation

It's a nice bright cafe that has a modern dining room, lounge feel to it. I created my own paleo breakfast and appreciated the choice to do so. In terms of the quality of produce and execution, I would say it is good but not amazing. This place stands out more for the freedom that they give you construct your own breakfast plate.

cafe with outside seats, I had my usual brunch of avocados, eggs, toast, mushroom and tomatoes. The price was fairly cheap and you get a large portion so that's good.

I love the freedom of being able to DIY breakfast plates at Palate.

It means never having to compromise with one's order, just because you want to eat one part of a dish a lot. it also means less food wastage, because people order only what they want to eat.

On the day in question, I ordered a plate of tasmanian smoked salmon, two poached eggs, grilled tomato with basil, avocado smashed with red onion, tomato and lime, grilled marinated mushrooms, cauliflower rice with garlic & onion and citrus infused sweet potato and macadamia mash.

A great combo.

Another cute little find down Greville Street by a friend of mine. Had the most delicious lamb salad for lunch which was also presented beautifully. Looking forward to bringing my partner here sometime soon!

An ok place for brekkie or lunch in Prahran, can be very busy on the weekend and hard to get a table if you haven't booked. They have a good variety of food choices and it tastes good. Can be a bit expensive though.

Great place to pop in to have a quick bite. We came here for lunch, there were choices on the menu. Drinks were not over the top in price either. Very satisfying!

Everything hits the mark - food quality, menu variety, staff service, and surroundings.
The only thing that lets this place down... is the price/food balance.
There is just no wow factor to it - but other than that... it is a nice place to go to, if you are local.

Approximate cost: $22
