I usually pop in the club for a coffee after I go to the gym, and last week I ordered a brownie with my coffee. The person serving me, a blonde woman, proceeded to add cream to my cake., at which point I requested no cream. I said this twice as I didn’t realise she heard me the first time. Well, she damn well bit my head off by shouting “ I HEARD YOU, I’M PUTTING THE LID BACK ON”.
I felt telling her to stick her coffee and cake, but I just took my coffee and sat down. I’ve seen her since and avoided her. Don’t know or care if she’s a boss or whatever.
Great Gym which I always love going to as well as quite good food that is pretty good. Love the great chicken snitty.
A nice club with a good outdoor area fort the kids. We had a function here and it was well catered for and a pleasant experience.
Hi I'm a casual at the bistro, I've been there 4weeks I've jus had trouble in the last 2weeks with another staff well I sorted it, then the boss bought it up again the week when I got fired for ringing in last minute I couldn't find a childminder. What I'm saying is if you get employed at the bistro please be aware of this
Panania Diggers is a fantastic family restaurant and local club, I was very impressed upon checking it out for the first time this week. The staff are warm & friendly. The food offers variety and great value. The beer garden and kids area is a major plus. I will be back.
Wow! Way to go Panania Diggers! Great food and spectacular surroundings. Excellent for families with children. Would definitely be going back. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Would be an ideal place for a get together.
Approximate cost: $15
Good place to go with friends or family.
I especially love Wednesday night (karaoke night)
It is very entertaining!
Panania Diggers is a great place to go and chill out with friends or family, thediggers has a great out door area for the kids to run around and burn off some energy. The food is good and menu is like most RSL/clubs the diggers has a friendly feel to it and always makes you welcome. If you like to join a sports club cricket or soccer this is the club to join Ive been playing cricket for this club for many years now and they have been a great club to play in. This is a great little club to join and recommend them to anybody.
This is a great family place to go, Its got a great outdoor area for the kids to run around and great party area for families to book for all occassions. Food and service is great and you always get a big serving on your plate. If you want to join a sporting club I recommend Panania East Hills. I play cricket for this club and they are great club to be in. If you want a place to meet up with family or friends I surely recommend going here.
Lovely bistro, very clean. The food is yummy, cheap prices and generous serving of food! Have to wait for your food, which can be a little slow when they are busy.
Approximate cost: $7
I was impressed with the outdoor children's playground idea. It was extremely noisy the day I went there and I couldn't really have a conversation with friends simply because of the number of kids playing outside but inside was a much different story.
The down side was trying to enter the club. I almost gave up and went home as I had to line up for 5 mins just to sign in. This was because there was a party of about 40 people and each person had to sign in as a visitor or member - luckily it wasn't a party of 300 (which the venue is capable of hosting) as I would not have stuck around to get my chance to sign in. The lady at the front reception also seemed frazzled by it all and by the time I finally got a chance to sign in she was very narky and bossy - not coping well with the large crowd in the tiny foyer. What else did she expect from a venue that requires every guest to sign in?
Wow ... what a follow up - i received my membership card and my surname has been spelt incorrectly - in fact it has been changed into a rather offensive word. Clearly the front counter lady was more frazzled than I first imagined as she was the one who wrote my name details on the application form. HHHHmmmmm
A nice little club, fairly quiet. There is a playground and other facilities. Staff are always friendly and the prices are reasonable.
Friendly atmosphere with excellent outside area where the kids can play in the playground while the adults can relax with friends.
Great food new chef in bistro food great value, menu has asian infulence eg Spicy salt and pepper pork but still with usual classics such as Chicken Parma good value meals that are delivered to your table quickly.
Meat raffles are really popular on Friday night and Sunday afternoon.
Staff are friendly and the club has a welcoming atmosphere.
I dont know how you rate the bistro, yes its cheap but I had food poison, the club manager apologize but for sure its not enough for a place that many kids eat to be so dirty, plus my husband have seen one of the chefs be in the toilet and then leave without washing hands. Awful!
