This place was rude when we had extra people (more than our booking). One particular waitress was rude about it (even though there was plenty of seats available). The food was great and other waitress's were great providing us with extra plates for our birthday cake.

Mmm, had never had pancakes for breakfast before, but this was a perfect place to start that kind of trend :) Delicious & a vast range of tastes to dress up those already moist pancakes!

One goes to pancakes on the rocks for the pancakes - it's what they specialize in. A whole bunch of pancakes and crepes, made to order with decadently savory toppings, or sweet cake like devils delight (chocolate pancakes, that taste just like Sara-Lee Chocolate Cake!).

Diner feel, with tv's blasting out MTV videos etc etc. Always busy, and on the expensive side, expect to wait for a table.

Food is filling and don't be tempted to do savoury and sweet - you'll leave with a stomach ache. Best to share if you want to try both! They make a decent all-night breakfast, which has always settled my cravings, and the wedges are also worth a mention.

Pancakes on the Rocks is like a City Extra that specializes in pancakes. If you are in the mood for an upgraded US Diner experience, then this is the place to go.

Note: If you are at branch at the Rocks, the wait is generally so long, that you'd save more time (and money on parking) driving to the Northmead branch!

Approximate cost: $16

Great for dining with kids. A children's menu is available and they always give us colouring pencils and an activity sheet.

A friendly and family safe restaurant. Service is a little slow but the food is tasty. Nice menu available and you can even buy their pancake mix to make at home.

Approximate cost: $25

Abit cramped could be abit more bigger, but it does have really yummy pancakes. Downside cause its always busy there is always a cue to get a seat, but nice tasting food. Good location if you don't like going to the city.

Approximate cost: $25.00

I like eating here because i love their menu. There isn't much variety but I am happy with what they offer as I like every thing they have on it. It isnt only Pancakes that they offer they also make yummy pizzas, crepes, wedges etc. A good place to go with friends.

The Atmosphere is what most people come here for. Food is great, pancakes are good but it's a bit too thick for me, i need alot of ice cream to gobble it down. Good place to take a friend for desert.

I DONT KNOW HOW THIS PLACE IS ALWAYS PACKED. THE PANCAKES AT MACDONALD'S TASTE BETTER. SERVICE IS GREAT BUT THATS ABOUT IT. AND IM SURE THE NO NAME ICE CREAM AT WOOLWORTHS TASTE BETTER THEN THERES. they are so over priced when it only cost them $1 to make. pancakes are to thick maybe thats y they taste so bad.

Approximate cost: $13
