I attended Pancakes On The Rocks at Northmead for a friends birthday breakfast and the food was quite nice.
The staff were OK and attended to our questions however did not seem too keen to be there and the responses to my queries about my dietary needs were a little stiff to be honest.
All in all the food was as expected and pricing was reasonable, while the overall experience was not "negative" it definitely wasn't the greatest I have had as well. I have had much better service from the Pancakes On The Rocks in the city (at the Rocks).

Maybe it was just a morning thing??

I think it's because they're too busy sometimes or don't take pride in their work

look everyone loves there pancakes but also has some really tasty pizzas aswell that i liked; everything was great; bill little high but hey food great. Only thing is service is pretty bad; very rushed service where waiters have no smile and can tell they hate being there. There mood and lack of service brought atmosphere and experience down a little

Approximate cost: $26.00

I wish I could agree with your tasty pizza comment but my first time having a pizza here was a disaster. Thanks for sharing though.

I came here a few times before. The last dish I ordered was a fish. It was tasty, but quite expensive. Best to come with a voucher from the Entertainment book.

Next time remember to ask me for voucher

It's a great place, great food and great price. They mainly serve pancakes, but they also have savoury food such as pizza, ribs, salad etc. The price is quite cheap for a restaurant and the staff are friendly and attentive. It can get a bit crowded at night, you might need to wait on a queue most of the times unless you make a reservation. Free parking available.

Approximate cost: $15

Nice place to come to for all ages and the pancakes are lovely. Service is good and place can be rather busy at times.

Love this place. Great service. Hot food cooked to perfection... and super yummy! Hardly have to wait for sit or for food to come out. Only negative is their take home pancake mixes are nothing like the ones they serve you. They've told me its because they use an extremely hot grill to cook them. Overall love this place!

Always delicious. Served quickly and quality is always high. Dessert pancakes are very thick and fluffy.

Decent food. After my last experience it didn't seem to stand out as a place to want to keep me going back for repeat visits. Ordinary food unless you get the pancakes and desert.

Approximate cost: $30.00

Pancakes has a great variety of deserts, very delcious and very filling. However the prices are above average, the savoury range was standard, the mains of ribs where similar to outback steakhouse.

Approximate cost: $15
