The staff were friendly and helpful, willing to offer suggestions when necessary. They were patient when we were being indecisive. Everyone else with me really enjoyed their meals, however being a vegetarian I was disappointed with the lack of options. They made me a modified version of the risotto, however it was very cheesy and I was unable to eat it. They asked what was wrong with it and when I told them the waitress said she would let the chef know (it wasn't an option on the menu, so they obviously didn't make it very often), which was good as it showed they genuinely wanted to fix the problem so that I would come back and be satisfied the next time. I will still be going back, as it was good value for money and they were very friendly and despite me not enjoying my specific meal, everyone else really enjoyed theirs.

Huge fulfilling delicious meals, reasonably priced and friendly staff, what more can you ask for. i have had many meals here with friends and family, never disappointed. The Garlic prawns were large, fresh and fabulous, crisp chips, steak perfectly prepared everytime. My girlfriend loves her schnitzel and fish and chips. No complaints, great place for an inexpensive meal.

Had lunch here with my brother. I had fish and chips (as I often do) and he had the roast. Both of us enjoyed our meals at this popular very well priced hotel. Sometimes very busy so it pays to book

I really enjoyed the garlic prawns here as well as their fish and chips, liked that the chips are crispy. Great value.

Visited here for an inexpensive lunch and enjoyed the fish and chips meal that was on the seniors service. The food was well cooked and presented and served in a timely manner. This hotel is always busy and very well patronized. Look forward to returning

This is a great place to go for a really good quality meal at a very reasonable price. Their servings are huge! I went here with friends, we all had the Burger & Chips, chips were crispy and the burger, well one of the best I have ever had! I can see why it gets busy, such good value. The menu is quite extensive and varied, your only problem will be - you wont know what to choose. I will definitely be trying one of the seafood meals next time, I liked the look of the Garlic Prawns. Definitely will be returning when out this way and I definitely recommend you try them.

Want a big meal for a reasonable price then they have it. Happy with the steak i ordered and how it was cooked and served. The size was huge and the sides were good. Atmosphere was good and service good too

I think what does it for Paradise Hotel are its generous portions at such low prices. It's definitely somewhere I'd bring the family, or even a group of friends, to just enjoy each others company whilst keeping on a low budget. I especially like the cheap days which provide even MORE value. To top it off the salad bar is a nice addition with its variety of sides such as pasta salads, garden salads and bread.

I always drive past this place and can't believe I haven't tried it yet! I will definitely be pulling over for lunch one day.

This one is such a conflicting one to review. The service was great but the food for the kids was pretty average. The pizza was just heated out of the pack pizza (not sure if that is normal) and the pasta sauce had odd seasonings added. I had butter chicken which was fine. Prices are good and kids get a free softdrink/icecream. There is a good playground, but the doors leading out to it are ridiculously difficult to open (heavy) and a finger hazard! PITA for adults who have to constantly jump up and down to open them and make sure kids aren't injured. No point having a child friendly dining room (playground) when you can't leave the kids to just play.

Approximate cost: $14

The hotel food portions are too large :) I can never eat all the food they bring out for such a cheap price. The salad bar is pretty average with frozen vegies heated up rather than fresh carrots, peas, corn. On the plus side, this hotel still serves Southwark and has a great little playground for the kiddies. We think it is good value for a local pub.

Approximate cost: $9

A nice pub with your good old fashion pub meals. Love the salad and vegetable bar; every pub should have one. The kids love the playground and some nights they have live entertainment. Great for family get togethers.
