Really good location with a great atmosphere and friendly patrons. So close to public transport and a fair enough menu and prices.

Its an old pub at Circular Quay, amazing location, close to all kinds of public transport. Service has always been great and the food is outstanding.

The paragon Hotel has a pretty good pub. The drinks are reasonable prices and its a good place to catch up with friends inside the pub or outside in the beer garden.
Staff are nice and and provide a friendly service.

I went here for a friend's 23rd birthday and we spent most of our time upstairs in the pool area. The place is open and spacious but everyone hated going up and down the stairs to have a cigarette. In saying that, the bartenders upstairs were lovely and one offered me a discount if I bought 4 drinks at a time. Since it's so common to have rude bar staff I thought that was a great touch. Overall the place was clean, open and friendly and reasonably priced, I would love to go back again.

The Paragon Hotel is a great pub located in the heart of Circular Quay. I have been coming here for years, it is consistently a great place to dine and catch-up with friends over a drink. The bistro at the Paragon offers pretty good pub meals with daily meal deals. I enjoy the upstairs area and watching sporting matches here. The Paragon attracts a good crowd and the staff are friendly. You always bound to have an enjoyable time at The Paragon, and I recommend checking it out.

I dined at the bistro. I ordered the Char-grilled Octopus salad. This was delightful. It was light and the octopus were lightly tossed in it. Will definitely have this again.

For my main, I ordered the Lamb Skewers with tzatziki, salad and chips $15.00. This was very different from other lamb skewes I've had before. It's sauce has a peanut butter texture to it but its taste is very nice. Hard to describe. The servings of chips was large - impressed me.

Ambience was quiet - just how I like it.

Approximate cost: $15
