Parenthood is one of a new phenomenon, the specialist kid store. Think of it as a cross between Bed Bath n' Table, Ralph Lauren and Baby Bunting. The store is bright and airy and loaded with only the best accouterments for the current or pending little one in your life.
We visited on a Monday and had the store to ourselves. The range is phenomenal and very well-presented. We found the most obscure toys and decor; certainly these are things you won't find at Bunting or BabyCo. The only thing that I find less than satisfying is the slight coldness of the place. It seems very corporatised and lacking somewhat in warmth.
I've visited Parenthood to buy things for my soon to arrive baby. Everything is beautifully presented and they have lovely products.
Fantastic products but expensive.
Beautiful puzzles and gifs that although expensive are unique and something you cant get anywhere else.

I visited the Ricmond Parenthood store recently and found one particular staff member most ubrupt. I was looking to purchase the "Bugaboo" pram and was hoping someone could take a little time out to show me the features and allow me to play with them before I purchase. I will purchase this pram from another store now as the woman just kicked this thing around like it was difficult to use and harldy allowed me time to get a feel for thew pram myself. Being a first time mother I need a little time. She took all of three minutes to show me this pram. My husband and I were wanting to buy this week. They've lost me! I'll spend my money elsewhere. There really is a coldness to the place.
