This bakery has won some awards ,and is often busy, they do make great pies, the pastry is light and flaky, they make an interesting range of pies including kangaroo & crocodile pies, my personal favourites are "Thai Chicken" & "Burgundy Beef"

Saw a review of this place on Coxy big break and one christmas break decided to drive all the way to Rutherglen from Melbourne VIC. That's how desperate I was to try a kangaroo pie. The kangaroo pie had a kangaroo shaped cutout on top of the pie, very cute. It was served with some sort of jam I think. The pie pastry was very nice and flaky. The kangaroo meat filling was just OK in my opinion, but hey at least now I can say I've eaten a kangaroo pie, LOL.

Best pies I have ever tasted. They have won many awards especially for their game pies. My favorite is the Crocodile pie- Crocodile with crab meats in sweet chilli sauce. The prices are a bit steep but totally worth it. Pity it's such a long drive,otherwise would definitely go there every weekend.

Tasty as! This is the ultimate place for pie fans. My favourite is the Thai chicken pie, with it's large (real) chicken pieces and yummy pastry. It's no wonder Parker Pies have won so many awards. The staff are friendly, and always seem genuinely happy, giving the store a nice atmosphere.

The best pies I have ever eaten. I had a steak and mushroom and a Rutherglen Red which is like a beef burgundy when we were there over the weekend.
Yum!!! They were not the cheapest pies but they were the yummiest. Big chunks of tender steak in a cripsy pastry.
