I was walking past this place after my gym class and was hungry so decided to stop and look at the menu. I saw they had 500 gram BBQ pork at $12.80 and thought it's quite cheap. Ordered that to go with my leftover rice at home. The boss who served me was friendly. When I got home I was quite surprised at how generous the serving was. Took me 3 days to finish the whole thing. The BBQ pork was tasty and not dry at all.

I don't know why I didn't go to Grill'd instead and still regretting that decision. The beef burger I had was overcooked, burnt and very dry. I asked for medium well but it was definitely very well done, if not burnt. I had to drink lots of water after every bite or else it would get stuck in my throat. There were no sauce in the burger and I took a bottle of pink mayo from the counter hoping that it would taste better, but it did not. Also ordered potato wedges, they were not cut evenly and the bigger cuts were still raw. The burger did not come with cheese and have to pay extra 60 cents for a slice of cheese.

This place serves Malaysian and Indonesian foods, I think it was opened just recently. I walked past this place last night on my way to Melbourne Central station after shopping at QV and noticed this place. It used to be a korean gift shop or something. There were pictures of Hainanese chicken and Ayam penyet (indonesian style mashed chicken) and they looked good so we decided to have out dinner there. I had the Koko's bebek(duck) because I haven't had duck for ages and was craving for bebek bengil in Bali. The duck was nice and crispy and the 3 condiments served with the dish was pretty nice, although I wished the sambal was spicier. At $12 I thought the duck's serving was quite small. My friend had the chicken rice and was overall quite happy with it.

Tried this place for the first time last week and I was blown away by how good the pork belly tasted. We had the $25/pp express banquet and were very happy with the amount and taste of the foods. The highlight was their very famous pork belly with caramel sauce and black vinegar, just writing about it now makes my mouth water. The pork is so tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. We also had Barramundi watermelon salad whch were very light and refreshing. Service was pretty average but I am not too fussed about service as long as the food is amazing.

This review is for Mamak, Melbourne VIC

My favorite place to visit whenever I am in Sydney. Imagine how happy I was when I found out that Mamak was coming to Melbourne. Went there few days after their opening and the line was crazy long. Was desperate to eat the roti canai so we lined up for more than 45 minutes. It was well worth the wait though, the roti was delicious. Also had sambal kangkong and kari kambing with rice.

Booked few weeks in advance and was told the only slot available was 3:30 PM, the place closes at 4 PM. Got there on time and was told to wait for my turn. Waited for 20 minutes and could hear the staff complaining to her boss that it's almost time to go home and still has to do my dermabrasion treatment. The boss said "Just do it quickly". They spoke in mandarin and didn't know that I could understand their conversation. Another staff was doing a treatment on another customer who came before me and the boss went in there to scold the staff for being slow.
Finally it was my turn but the beautician who treated the previous customer didn't want to do mine because she had to go home. The receptionist was asked to do mine. The whole thing was so frustrating. The receptionist was all over the place, looked confused and only did my cheeks and that was it. She then applied very oily stuffs on my skin and told me that it's dermalogica moisturiser- it looked more like frying oil to me. I had to use several tissues to wipe off the oil from my face before going out to the street. Didn't want people to think that I had just dipped my face into a bucket of oil.

Still not sure why antique because I went in there earlier today and there was nothing special about the decor. It was pretty plain and looked kindof cheap. Decor aside, the food was amazing. I ordered Pad Krapow with crispy pork and requested extra spicy for only $11.70 through menulog online. They offers 25% for first time customer. The crispy pork was nice and crispy. The stir fry sauce was so tasty and extra spicy as per my request. My order was ready in 15 minutes and the staff member was very friendly.

Had the steak and mushroom pie and it was delicious. The pie pastry has just the right thickness and the pie filling was generous and tasty. The vanilla slice was amazing too- the vanilla cream was light and not overly sweet.

Not authentic at all and quite expensive for the quality and amount of foods. The dishes were oily and extremely salty. I was not able to taste anything else apart from the huge amount of salt. I ordered beef stir fry and massaman curry. Both dishes were packed in small container and only had few pieces of chicken, the rest were onions, capsicums and potatoes.

Reasonable priced compared to other thai restaurants. I ordered few dishes through take away website and the orders were ready within quoted time. All the dishes were very tasty especially the green papaya salad.
