Some shops are great some shops are bad, it's a bit of a swing and hope, but the shops that are great are really great with staff, quality of products and price... The ones that are bad are bad with everything tho
Open on Saturdays and Sundays only - I wish they were open one day during the week for their fruit and vegetables.
There is no where close by that I can find fruit and veggies at market fresh and market priced.
The car park is in terrible condition - I wonder if it will be upgraded?
It's a shame markets like these are far away from home.
Parklea Markets is one of those crazy, labyrinthine places that sells a lot of garbage and a lot of treasures. In order to discover everything that it holds, one requires patience and enthusiasm.
Parklea Markets is home to everything imaginable: food, animals, knockoff handbags, books, Disney-themed rugs, wigs - the list goes on. Describing every stall is a little difficult, but I think their used books stall is pretty decent. The staff are friendly and there's a wide variety. Somehow they manage to create a little safehouse in the midst of chaos.
A lot of people, I can imagine, will be unwilling to appreciate Parklea Markets. The carpark is also terrible and a nightmare to ease your way through. There is an information desk inside for anyone looking for something specific, but it really is a place that begs to be explored. Enjoy the experience!
This a good place to spend a morning on the weekend. It can be very packed so get there early for easy parking. A good place to pick up a few bargains especially if you are shopping for Christmas.
The bread here is so fresh- it's extremely hot when they bring it out from the kitchen! There is a huge variety of products- gifts, hobbies and even services such as awnings and cleaning.
I haven't been in a while now, but the Parklea Markets are what you would expect; a variety of stalls selling everything from second hand goods like spare parts to fruits and veggies, carpets, books and just about anything you can think of. Great place to explore with the family.
I love Parklea markets as it definately appeals to everyone. Pet owners can go buy cages & feed, gardeners can buy plants, parents can buy groceries/bread and everyone can enjoy the clothes, dried fruit & nut stalls and hobbies. A great place to have a walk around with family and friends.
Good place to bargin secondhand stuff. Good prices also do of your shopping too at the same time plenty car space.
