For less than $100 a head for wine and a buffet SEAFOOD dinner - you can't go wrong.

The biggest prawns I've ever eaten, with a wonderfully fresh, ocean taste. Lobsters, oysters, yabbies, balmain bugs, and mornay's followed - truely an over indulgent, delicious and divine seafood buffet.

Would reccomend to anyone for a special occasion - the restaurant overlooks the beautiful lagoon pool and there's plenty of parking available for all.

If you are lucky enough to stay a night in the hotel, the premium suites are exclusive and beautiful and the dinner is the perfect icing to the cake.

Speaking of cake - the desserts at the buffet are not amazing, but certainly a lovely ending to the wonderfully fresh seafood abundance!

Note: At the moment they are renovating, probably not the best time to visit - but when they are done, hopefully they will be back on their fantastic game!

Approximate cost: $100

This place is quickly becoming dated. The food in the buffet seems to come from a cheap catering company, the staff are slow and interested in doing anything but serving, the servings for meals are dismal. This place needs a kick in the behind - they are certainly not keeping up with the changes around them.

I've had the lunch and dinner buffet here, and gone on special occasions such as Easter and their Christmas in July/Yuletide buffets, and it's always been delicious, with loads of choice. Actual table service can be a bit slow at times, so if you want a drink or the bill, you may have to try hard to flag down waitstaff.

Approximate cost: $~$30

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for our anniversery. We had buffet breakfast at the Brasserie. The food was very nice and there was lots of choices. I loved the fresh fruit and the bacon and eggs.

Located in the Stamford Grand Hotel North Ryde... This has to be one of the best buffet restaurants on the north shore, if not the best. I go here every few months with the family. I believe Friday and Saturday is seafood buffet night and the other nights is standard buffet (but you want to double check before visiting). Sizzlers has nothing on this place :-)
