They came out to rough in our new kitchen. The work was ok. However, we were grossly overcharged. The service call was normal, $75. The rest of the invoice was not. $140/hour! Materials were charged at $455. We had a plumber over since for another job and they said that those materials should have been around $200-$250. We were also charged machine hire. I have called, texted and emailed them to find out why these costs were so high but they have been ignoring my calls, texting back to say that they're away and will reply when they're back but they haven't. This matter has now been reported to Fair Trading.

Wow! On a rainy stormy night, when our hot water heater had broken down, I desperately called some plumbers hoping that they could fix it. Alas, nobody was interested in helping us that night, all offering to come when it suited them instead! Then Paul Bevins came to the rescue! He took the call personally, not through some answering service, and agreed to come straight around, despite the foul weather and it being 8pm. He sorted the problem out quickly and efficiently, and when I mentioned that I had some leaking taps in my bathroom he fixed that too! Why aren't there more tradesman like them? Save yourself time and money doing the phone around and call them.
