Very limited GF options. Just having GF bread/toast would open up most breakfast and sandwich lunch options but when suggested there was no interest in providing GF. Very unusual for a place this size as most like places in Shire cater well.

Pavement Café in Sylvania Southgate is a great all rounder café. It is great for breakfast and lunch, with lots of choices on the menu. Great ambience and friendly people, worth a look.

Really felt like french toast without the bacon. No taste of egg mix on toast but of bacon. So the cooks just fry on the grill where bacon etc is cooked.
coffee is very wishy washy. Oh the waitress basically dropped the plate on the opposite side of where I was sitting
all In all disappointing.

An excellent cafe, consistently brilliant. The staff there are always friendly & accommodating, the food is excellent, it's very reasonably priced & most importantly, the coffee is great!

I always pop in to grab a coffee & a quick chat when I am around the area. I highly recommend Pavement Cafe to anybody that wants to treat themselves to a cheeky coffee & a good experience - Always memorable, always outstanding.

Friendly staff, beautiful sitting out in the sun having a delicious meal and milk shake. It's great to sit back ans watch the world go by.

They have a good selection of cafe style meals, as well as great smoothies. It's a great place for breakfast, or just for a coffee with friends. Pretty good value for money, and the food is good. The owner is very friendly, and the service is usually quite good.

Great place for a weekend breakfast or brunch. Huge portions. Service can be hit and miss at times. Limited menu on special days like mothers day so don't go if you want to be able to order what you like, Last time I was there, we had to sit outside where there were smokers so that put us off going back...

The banana pancakes were quite alright, but the description of caramelized would not be the appropriate term for pouring caramel sauce over the top - I would recommend properly "caramelizing" them or changing the name to "banana pancakes with caramel sauce". The coffee is reasonable, but I've had much better.

Lovely just lovely but it somehow doesn't stand out like most places in the Shire. Don't get me wrong i like this place but any other place in any other mall is kinda the same.

Great coffee,great food,service with a smile,alwys busy but worth waiting that little bit extra for a good feed and the bill is very reasonable. Would take a very bad dining experience to move me from this cafe.
