Good food, great coffee and average service. If you were to have a coffee there I would recommend a piccolo latte, they balance the body to head well (not too thick, not too narrow) and place latte art on top - usually a leaf or heart. Easy option for breakfast or lunch.

The staff always erupt with a smile whenever you walk in, which can be surprising and startling but they are always friendly and ready to serve. The sushi is good, but not as good as sushi train at cronulla (a five minute drive down the road) and therefore would not be my first choice.

Sometimes hard to get a seat because it's often busy. Always something good on the menu. The fruit juices are INCREDIBLE! The manager remembers regulars showing good service. Music is often too loud which can be annoying when having a conversation.

The table service by the waitress Kirby was very nice, always with a smile. At Christmas I enjoyed the accessories the staff wore. Unfortunately the centre has now closed down due to wanting to restrict eateries to the "food hall" which I find ridiculous as this cafe has been loyal to Southgate over the years.

The banana pancakes were quite alright, but the description of caramelized would not be the appropriate term for pouring caramel sauce over the top - I would recommend properly "caramelizing" them or changing the name to "banana pancakes with caramel sauce". The coffee is reasonable, but I've had much better.

The food is pretty average, the coffee mediocre and the service is okay. The seating capacity is good so you know you'll always get a spot. I'd go there as an easy option but not on my list of top restaurants.

The staff are generally young, the music is quite loud and majority of clothing is tacky. However you can generally find a nice piece of clothing at a reasonable price.
