Peacock Gardens is a really nice family friendly restaurant.
The food is delicious with a great menu. I found the portion sizes to be perfect. I love sharing the dishes with the family.

Peacock Gardens have been in Crows Nest since the 70's service some of the best chinese on the north shore of Sydney.

The restaurant prides itself on its great quality of food and its exceptional service standard, the staff will look after you very well and you do get that sense of pride in their staff.

The food is fantastic, Sang Choy Bow, Sizzling Fillet Steak and Sweet and Sour Pork and some of the best but you really cant go wrong no matter what you order.

Parking in Crows Nest is fine as they do have a council car park near the restaurant.

Prices here are relatively high but you dont mind paying for quality and thats exactly what you get here.

Approximate cost: $25

We normally go there for lobsters and duck pancake. The fish there is also fresh. I say - get yourself in fro a mid-week treat and have yourself a serve of their amazing steamed chicken... seriously the best $16 meal you'll ever have. Tender, juicy, packed with flavour and definitely worth the hassle of getting in (despite the lack of charm from their waiters and door staff...!)

Great Chinese restaurant, have been here for work lunches, dinner and Yum Cha and the food is always great. Portion sizes are large, and pricing is extremely reasonable. The restaurant is very small, so wouldn't recommend visiting without booking first. Highly recommend the prawn dumplings, and the pork spare ribs.

Good proportion of meal, Matthew runs the place, he's the most friendliest of em all. Well to be honest I had bad experiences with the staff but not with Matthew.

The only problem is that they used to have mix ups with their orders (not so much nowadays) you sometimes (and quite often it used to be) get what you didn't order, especially if you order by the phone for delivery or pick up.

The way I see it, if you get served by Matthew you'll have a great dining experience, otherwise, it all depends on your luck.

The service is quick and efficient, Simple, The food is cheap and tasty. and friendly. the food comes out quickly and is very reasonably priced. I like their salt and pepper prawns. I'm definitely coming back to try out more of the menu.

I went here for a birthday party and was surprised that A) I never got the drink I ordered and B) that the food didn't taste any good

This place is an institution on the North Shore. I have been going there for over 20 years and it keeps getting better, you can not go past the salt and pepper prawns
