On first walking in the stench of fish is overpowering.
Sitting down to dirty napkins, chipped plates and hand prints all over the inside window where we sat.
The service was terrible and the waiters were rude.
They provide 2 menus - which on ordering we learnt we were "not allowed" to order from the "Chinese" menu we were only allowed to order from the "Other" menu. The "Other" menu had a quarter of the dishes and was more expensive. The waiter told us we were not allowed to order as we were not "Chinese".
Upon being served big black hair is visible right on top of the meal. They take it back but no apologies more an inconvenience.
Even though the reviews all said they split the bill - they dont!! The waiter told us it is to hard for them and to work out each share using the menus.
And the food is not that great - maybe the good food is reserved for the "Chinese" menu only.

Approximate cost: $25.00

Last Sunday morning, had some friends over from Sydney and we went for a 11.00 yumcha session. Ample place for parking and it's spacious inside the restaurant.

Service is excellent and they changed plates for us too!
(Something that is rarely happened in yumcha sessions)
The food was served out non stop. I must say I love the cheese baked scallops in the shell though it's not an authentic chinese yum-cha dish. The chicken feet dish was alright but lack of the marinated sauce.
Egg tarts were nice, steamed dishes were nice too.
Overall- good food, good service and worth while to go!

Approximate cost: $25.00-$30.00

Nice spacious restaurant. We had this yam duck and it was yummy! The price was NOT what I expected- hotel restaurant high. Definitely a place to bring your whole family for a good dinner. Because we don't take seafood, we got a decent bill.

i went here for yumcha on a saturday afternoon. the restaurant is huge and clean. the service was really quick and there were lots of tables of delicious food going around. i really loved some fried chicken thing and the calamari was very good as well. we had 4 people and we ate quite alot with drinks the bill came to $70 which i thought was quite good as it usually costs us $100 to go anwhere.

A group of friends and I go here every few months as our catch up yum cha lunch :) It is always fantastic.

I'm very impressed with the quality of the food, some of the dishes I find really superb! The service is always good, taking away plates quickly, refilling our teapots etc.

They are also happy for us to split the bill (they help us work out how much it is each and pay our shares separately), which is great, as not all places will do that - so it is greatly appreciated.

I must admit that it makes it easier for us because one friend can speak the language, so we get her to do most of the selecting and asking for things, which helps.

Since sometimes there are 4 of us, and most of the dishes come in 3 portions it can be a bit tricky, but usually we can get them to cut the portions up so we can all have some, which is great.

I find their salt & pepper squid to be a bit too salty and chewy (and it's the tentacle part not what I'd normally expect for "squid")... but that's pretty much the only dish I've not really liked. They have a lovely tasting pork rib dish but that is sometimes a bit Grissely.

To me their standout dishes are the mango pudding and something I know as a "football" (a football shaped smooth fried item with mince stuff inside - yum!). But most things are really great.

A few times we've requested different foods that weren't on the carts (because they had run out), and they have brought them to the table quickly and been happy to do that for us.

I find the decor a little strange, as it's quite opulent but the tables have paper covering the cloths (which is a bit uncomfortable and feels less special), with paper napkins - but I guess that might be somewhat standard for Yum Cha restaurants? I've seen paper cloths used in some other places too.

I also appreciate the underground carparking, great for rainy or hot days!

Approximate cost: $30
