This place is just a small independent fish shop. They sell onions rings which not many places do anymore, but if your looking for top quality this isn't the place. If you want cheap, good fish and chips and to support a small business than they are ok.

It is hard to deal with small business that is fighting to survive in the market place. I went to this shop to get a hamburger which I never really want but just had to have one then and there. I also ordered a small chips. I take note of smells of which there was none and looked at the BASA fish and fresh prawns in the window and some salmon cutlets that were being laid out. I was knowing that this was not your 5 star fish shop. The smell of the oil cooking the frozen chips was not my cup of tea. However in the eating of the chips and the hamburger there was no unpleasantries, just no special thing to talk about. I would not go back for any particular reason and hope that they can improve their service which they must get with all the pre cooked fish that looked clean and freshly battered. What a pity we are such an impatient world!!!. Fresh would give us our due reward if cooked as it comes out of the water so to say

This is the cheapest place to get chips in Penshurst. I've checked personally with my friend. The store is bit messy and old but the food's nice and the prices are very low. The staff are friendly.
