an excellent hair stylist, highly passionate and one of the greatest I have visited so far. Mr Pepsee is a talented stylist who has been in the hair industry for over 50 years, does not fail to disappoint.

Quite bad experience there. I feel like it's more like a barber shop but according to the ads, this shop focuses on colouring hair which makes people think it can cut and colour women's hair. But the hairdresser there cannot even cut my hair even, a side is much longer than the other side and I have to find another salon to fix it! A worse thing is the hairdressers there can always find excuses to cover their mistakes!

Quality & friendly service. Have been visiting Mr. Pepsee for more than 10 years now. Gets pretty busy in the weekend. I think the salon is now known as XYstyled.

I am female. My hair was half way down my back. I went here as I am a student and he advertises cuts from $35. I asked for a trim and a blow dry and informed him I was meeting up with a long lost friend that evening so I was really just after a bit of a lift in confidence - hence a trim and a blow dry. While i was waiting he gave me a laptop to look at styles... everyone I picked out was long hair with a bit of a fringe.... that's it.. basic... he was trying to talk me into taking more off.. and indicated a length about mid chest height - I thought, well maybe that would be a healthier option and would still have length... half way through he also then informed me he couldn't blow dry properly because of wrist problems... he did dry it though.. kind of just pointed the thing at my head and booffed it up... i walked out, minus 20cm!!!!(it's now just about an inch below my ears) totally uneven!! ... and booffed up like something out of 'Neighbours', back in the 80's though!! I didn't know what to say at the time.. i just wanted to get out of there... he kept saying just give it a couple of weeks and have a play with it.. it's so short i can hardly tie it back!!!!! and on top of that .. he charged me $50... i'm sure he could see I was upset.. about 4/5 days later.. it hit me and I cried!! it is the worst cut ever!! He should just stick to men's hair cuts... it's more of a barber shop set up anyway.. but I did check with him in the beginning as to whether he did woman's cuts.. and he replied, 'yes, that's my specialty'! I know it is trivial but I am absolutely devastated!!!!!

Salon pretty quiet, was open after work (til at least 5:30 on a weekday) only the owner working and waited for the previous customer to finish before I got my cut.

The guy is really nice, quirky, but friendly. Will have a chat if you want to. He checked with me that each aspect of my hair was as I wanted it, if I said I wanted it slightly different he was pleased to change it.

I paid 30 bucks at JustCuts and was appalled at the quality and service. This guy on the other hand was good value at 20 bucks (even if it was a really basic short back and sides) and I enjoyed my visit. I will definitely come here for my cuts in future.

This salon seems to be geared toward men's haircuts, as I didn't see any women here when I went, but nevertheless a nice salon where I had a good haircut. I was very pleased with my new look- some streaks done for under $40, which was good value for money. This is a comfortable, cosy, small salon. Girls can have a basic cut starting from $20.
