Easy booking online, as well as clear and regular communication via email, made things good from the start.  The instructor was friendly, professional, patient, and clearly explained everything.  He was happy to answer any questions and had plenty of good advice to offer along the way which was in addition to the DoT requirements.  I would gladly recommend Perth Boat School to anyone.

I highly recommend Perth Boat School. Our instructor was friendly, polite and made the day a lot of fun. I was nervous about the practical component but it ended up being an enjoyable day on the river focused on learning taking the stress out of the assessment component. Our instructor also included many examples of his own experience from boating which will stick with to help me remember the boating rules.  Anyone thinking of getting their skipper's ticket I would strongly recommend they go with the Perth Boat School!

Joe was fantastic Relaxed and friendly,very well structured. For me who has only ever been on boats (not skippered/driven them), Joe made this a breeze, I could take my time and get the tasks right the first time, I felt I could ask any questions about boating and a few tips about local shore fishing spots. Perth Boat School provided a comprehensive learning experience - read the book, watch the video, complete the sample questions, get in the boat, get your ticket! Our trainer was great and concentrated on those things we felt least comfortable doing. I've never moored a boat before and now feel comfortable enough to approach the dock with confidence. Thanks!
