Would highly recommend Shane and PBS. Excellent website, easy to navigate, from booking online to all the information available and the online quiz, it was a breeze. Then there's all the follow up info, awesome! Being quite nervous, Shane, my assessor is a really approachable, great teacher and created a relaxed session. I would highly recommend watching the YouTube videos and study, study, study. As they say, if I can do it, you can too!

A great morning's learning with positive feedback from Adam at all times (even when you messed a little). He was a good teacher and allowed us plenty of practice time.

I'd just like to say thanks to Adam my assessor. He was a great trainer, very patient and explained everything in easy to understand terms. I passed with flying colours and would highly recommend Perth Boat School to family and friends.

Awesome trainer really made everything smooth and easy to understand highly recommended place to get your skippers ticket.

The training and assessment was excellent. Joseph was friendly, patient and knew his stuff and doing the training and assessment with another student made it easier. The DVD and training notes were easy to follow and well designed and made the whole thing easy. No criticisms at all and I would highly recommend to anyone.

The tests were both very well prepared by Hayden and he was very encouraging in helping us execute the correct manoeuvres etc. i was able to complete both tests feeling relaxed and confident. I'll definitely recommend PBS to other friends and family.

I already had my Victorian boat licence but it expired and in order to renew it I had to fly back in person , so obviously a easier and cheaper option was to just resit here in WA , glad I did as I found I learnt a lot more by doing your course/licence and was very helpful through out the whole process , was a pleasure

Your whole process was very professional, from start to finish. My instructor Joe was very helpful and supportive and taught me some useful things above and beyond the requirements of passing the practical. Would recommend you to anyone undertaking Skippers Ticket.

Adam is so relaxed and it put me at ease, usually I am nervous with with tests etc but not this time. I would recommend Perth Boat School. Its certainly well thought out, especially with the website and information you are provided

Training was easy as long as you study properly as many questionnaires and not all the same. Booking was easy and so was arranging practical. Practical was great and Stephen really knows his stuff

From booking, through all the supporting communications, in-house information and publications, through to the professional training and assessment, it was a very professional experience that not only achieved my objective but also instilled confidence.

The course was easy to book online and there was enough details to guide you through the course.. I had a good instructor Stephen and highly recommend him he was thorough and was just not going to give me the ticket with 1 extra score wrong .. He would make sure I knew all the ones I got wrong and when I went back it was a lot easier .. it's funny you know I have been born and bred in the sea worked as merchant seaman most of my life there was still some things I did not know my wife had a little chuckle to herself ..

I did the RST combined with the 3 hour boat handling course for novices and not only did I get my skippers ticket I had a great day out. My instructor Shane simplified and explained everything from 1st principles in a laid back calm way. I had a smile on my face when he left and turned around and took my new boat out for a spin on the river. I will be booking another one for my sea legs!!

I would like to thank perth boat school not only on the way the course is presented by documentation, videos and on going questionnaires but also the assistance and support Shane supplied in completing the actual test.

Shane was a professional and relaxed trainer, was thorough, and was great to have there on board during the practical test.

Rain hail or shine! It was pouring and blowing a gale and our instructor was very patient and soldiered on. I was not confident on the boat but he made it very easy for me and showed me exactly what to do. Highly recommended.Thank you.

Perth Boat School was a great company to do our RST with.
Joseph took his time and provided us with many tips to use with our boat (53" Randell).
The course and assessment were well structured and not stressful at all.
