The fish and chips are crisp and taste great for the price so I highly would recommend! That being said, on some occasions like today the brunette/orange haired female worker at the register seems to feel like she hates being there and has a bit of a ignorant attitude towards customers

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time

I've been a regular here for many years. The present owners learned quickly and the food quality is good. Service is excellent. The grilled fish is great, large, thick portions and usually with lemon included. The menu is typical for a modern take away.

Stopped in here awhile ago and enjoyed some fish and chips...the chips were good but the fish was just a bit too oily for my liking. Service was pretty fast though and the staff were friendly.

Unfortunately Peter and his family have since sold this business and the new owners don't seem to have the same sense of importance in presentation of the store, quality of product and customer service. Such a shame really as this was one of the best Fish and Chip shops in the area.
In an awesome strip of shops this is now a disappointment.
Shocked that steamed dim sims were $1 each here recently!

Crispy, golden chips cooked to perfection...
Fish was fresh and juicy...
Batter used is really yummy..
Big portions...
Great value for money...

On recommendation of this site, I tried Peter's Fisn N Chips tonight. I had Grilled whiting that was a very thin fillet and covered with batter, which I then had to sit and peel off! On first bite, I got a big mouthful of bones and numerous bones thereafter. (Deeming it unsuitable to give to my 4 year old.)
The chip oil tasted like it needed changing and has left a greasy aftertaste in my mouth.
At least the calamari rings were very tender, albeit thickly coated in batter.
The only other upside is that I got complimentary lemon slices with it (which no-one seems to do anymore these days).
Sadly, not a great experience at all.

Peter is so friendly and the service is always great. The food is scrumptious too - I can't go past the classic battered fish and chips, but the grilled fish is also a winner! Best fish and chips in the area!

I was introduced to this place by the in laws, and have to say I sneak back there whenever I;m working in the area. The food is just too good to go past, and their burgers are unbelieveable. He'll make it any way you ask too

These guys are so great I don't know how to describe them. The place is so clean and the food tastes amazing. They always cheer you up too, and have been a place where I've gone for take away on some of the worst days of my life, and walked out with a smile

This is one of the best fish n chip shops I have ever been to. The service is actually amazing, they're so friendly and cheer you up if you've been having a bad day. Also I'm not a fish eater, but their grilled fish with shallots is so amazing i even wolf it down.

Peter and his family have been running this business for years. Always friendly, happy for a chat to regular customers and fish & chips that is the best I've experienced anywhere.

Whenever I'm back in the Frankston area, I always try to ensure I have a feed from Peters.

this is the best Fish & Chip shop in Frankston, they cook it precicely and can even do the fish in a Gluten Free batter, very friendly people, very welcoming and courteous
