Our attention to detail with each sharpening project is meticulous. Peter's Sharpening specialty is sharpening knives, meat slicers, food blades, scissors, and garden tools at your premises.
However, we don't make a mess in your home or office. We use our fully independent workshop to do the work. This ensures there is no air or workbench contamination in your food preparation area, which is for your health and safety.
Furthermore, a selection of changeover knives is available for you to use, reducing interference and downtime while your items are being sharpened by the expert.
You can rest assured your knives will receive the best possible attention and workmanship, and all workmanship is guaranteed for 7 days except when diamond steels are used for honing. So contact the experts in knife and blade sharpening of all kinds.

Peter was really professional. Texted me approximately what hour he would be turning up the next day. Arrived promptly. Greeted me at my front door. Did my knives and scissors super fast in his van. I had a bunch of Chef quality knives, cheap knives, scissors. Pretty much grabbed everything from around the house. His charge is a min of $40, but the price per knife or scissors is very reasonable. Knives came out sharp, not overally sharpened with wasted metal and with a sensible edge. It seems like one side is sharpened more than the other. I think this was deliberately done to prevent chips. I don't think that any manual sharpening is going to give the razor edge on top quality knives out of the box, like laser sharpening can. Laser sharpening isn't available in Melbourne as far as I can see, anyway. Definetly give Peter's Sharpening a go. The most important to me, is that he didn't damage my knives from uneven sharpening or over sharpening. I was pleased with the results.

I am the agent in Au/NZ for Sugimoto kitchen knives. Peter came with his van and mobile workshop to my home in Strathmore and sharpened 15 knives for me. There were a few challenges. Two of the knives had chipped blades and my 30cm Yanagiba was already sharp, I just wanted it sharper. Peter did a truly professional job out of all my items - Thanks Peter, well done!

Called Peter up on a Tuesday to get some knives sharpened, he was able to fit me in the very next day, he came to our house and sharpened 5 knives for us.
